Popcorn Buckets

I've heard that at Tokyo Disneyland the popcorn buckets are very popular- they come in different designs and flavors- like there is honey flavored in a pooh bucket near the Pooh ride. They wait in long lines for them, sometimes longer than the wait for the ride. Here's some pics on mousesavers, scroll to the bottom of the page:

Now those are very cool! I wish WDW would use them.

Does anyone have pictures of the popcorn buckets they have at Disney World? Is there a different one for World Showcase or just a general Epcot bucket? Thanks!

We have two. One of them came in handy on our '02 trip. I'm glad my dh sprung for the popcorn in the bucket....after the popcorn was gone, and while watching Illuminations, my poor little 7 y/o ds ended up getting sick all over the place....boy, that bucket came in handy on our walk back to the bus! And it was especially nice when people saw him hurling into it, they sent us right to the front of the very long line!!

Anyway, they've been run through the dishwasher several times, and not really used all that often. I never thought to use them for popcorn....doh!!

Oh, yeah. That's what I used one for, too. Didn't tell my son, though, until a few days later.

I use one of ours to scoop birdseed. I get a Disney lift every time the birds get hungery.

How much is the popcorn? Is the one they are taking about with the snack option on MYEDining?

I'm wondering the same thing!

I'd love to see a pic of one of these :earsgirl:

We use them for popcorn too! I think, though the planter idea is cute - might try that with the doubles that we have. We have also used them for sand buckets at the beach, and for holding "junkfood salad" - you know the small bits of potato chips, doritos, pretzels and such from the big bags. Instead of throwing them away, we mix them together in the buckets and wallah! Junkfood salad!!

I found this on allearsnet.com. For Safari Popcorn in Animal Kingdom it shows as of May 2004 the price of popcorn is:

Popcorn $2.59
Popcorn in Souvenir Bucket $3.49

It didn't show a picture of the bucket. Anyone know what they look like?

We got a bucket with cotton candy in it last year. I use it in my classroom to keep my "worker of the week!" pencils in.
