All,

We have a fairly large family party headed down in just over a week. We went through a travel agent, and our hotel room type at POP is "Standard Pool View". Each of the families in our party is getting 2 interconnecting rooms... for a total of 10 rooms altogether.

I don't know the chances of us all being close together (and we haven't checked online yet... nor do we know if that is preferable given our situation).

Given all that info, which building do you prefer at POP, and for what reason? As far as our preferences go... we'd probably prefer proximity to bus stops and the lobby/store/food court to a tranquil setting (given the number of kiddos in our party, tranquility just went out the window ;))... but we also don't mind a bit of a walk if a different building is better.

Which would you choose... and given the size of our party, would you wait and check-in on the day of, to see if our party could be in the same proximity? (as opposed to all checking in online and requesting the same thing?)

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

If you want to be close to the food court I would recommend the 50's. There are standard pool view rooms there that are really close to the food court and busses.

Loooove 50's! You will too.

Staying at AoA next trip for novelty, but will be right back Poppin' very soon after!

Same here I was going to say 50's too.

We stayed in 50's 60's & (70's 1 night)....All were Preferred.70's was a 3rd floor facing the main pool in the closest bldg. 60's was on 2 nd floor just around the corner facing hourglass lake, and 50's was ground floor just to the right of the airport check in station to the right....Sooo close to everything. Parking lot, bus stops main pool quiet pool, Main bldg.....I think on the opposite side of this bldg is considered standard and still will be close to all, but will be even closer to the bowling pin pool:thumbsup2. I'd go for that if possible.
