Not as crowded as pop? I thought movies is where most kids want to stay so it fills up first.. and lotsa kids staying there- exactly how crowded is Pop if it's more crowded than Movies? Lordy... from our experience at Movies in June if POP is more crowded than that... wow, I can't even imagine being more crowded than that (at movies). LOL

Pop is more crowded because there are more rooms at POP . Pop has 4 stories in each building. All Stars has 3 stories.
The All Star resorts have 1,960 rooms each.
Pop has 2,880rooms.
That means more people in the pools,food court and in line waiting for the bus at POP.
When phase 2 of POP is built it will be 2 bus stops at POP and the 2 POPs will have the same # of rooms as the 3 All Stars.

We just got back from 6 nights @ POP. It was suppost to be 11 nights but we switched to AKL on the 7th day. I have stayed at ASSp as well and I have to say they are both about the same. The AS due share some buses (at least they did when we stayed there) but POP's buses were just as packed as AS. We chose to stay @ POP this time around because DD picked it. We were going to celebrate her 5th b-day and it was her choice. Really both resorts will be crowded and you will have full buses and most likely be waiting for buses at both resorts. The rooms are the same,as well as the food courts and basically the grounds. It all comes down to the themeing. I'd just let your kids look at the resorts on the WDW website and ask them to choose. Or you could just pick one and they wouldn't know the difference! Good luck Have a great trip!

My 2 and 3 year olds LOVED All Star Movies. We stayed in the Toy Story section and there is a cute play area surrounded by huge three story Buzz and Woody figures. We liked our rooms and the closeness to the food court and buses. The kids loved the Disney shorts showing on a tv screen in the food court - kept them occupied while we ate. The pool is so cute with sorcerer Mickey and there's a nice kiddie pool as well. Also a good playground.

We never had any trouble with buses being too crowded or waiting long for a bus at the hotel or parks.

I have not stayed at Pop, but ASMo is now a favorite of ours.
