..Pop My Jibbitz!!! We Are In Disney Woild! **UPD 6/23 PG 69 #1022**

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Arlene Francis, was a minor Broadway/film star in the 30-60's! She was more known for her NYC Social Circle. HOWEVER she is probably best known for being a Panelist of the Game show "Whats My Line?". 'Whats My Line' was a very popular tv show in the 50's to early 70's! The panelists through a series of questions had to guess what a persons job was (it was usually weird jobs)!

NOW this show was HUGELY popular, so much so that they had very famous people of the time appear on it.

When very recognizable celebrities where on The panelist had to wear eye masks (hense the cover your eyes) and Arlene Francis always asked "Are You in Show Business?" in order to deduce who the person was!

This show was so popular that it is parodied in Disney's 101 Dalamtions! The puppies can be seen watching What's My Crime on television when Pongo and Perdita arrive to rescue them. :thumbsup2

Thankyou so much for filling me in. Up until now I was thinking Arlene Frances was an obnoxious neighbor of yours who wore flowered house dresses, knee high hosery, (rolled down to the ankles) fat curlers and was never without a lit ciggarette, my guess was so far off.:sad2:

That tidbit about the Dalmations is going to make me the envy of all my peers once I throw that Disney knowledge in their face. (I will give you props for that and not hog all the wisdom glory for myself)

"It was your worst CHUCKIE CHEESE NIGHTMARE"

LOL!!! I feel like a complete bonehead that I didn't realize you updated your TR! Forgive me, I beg of you!

Anyways... I really feel like I should check that place out when I move to Orlando in January... I've been known to "bring the party" so to speak... Hm. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Either way - GREAT UPDATE.

So you saw her in a bathroom too?

No need I stole it from a googled page!:upsidedow

HI DU - A little shout out to ya in my trippie about jibbitz. ;) :thumbsup2

See.. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=18326347#post18326347

One question....I mean I know your title here is about jibbitz popping off and all but I dont want to spend $3 for each one and leave a trail of missing parts throughout the parks. Do they really come off easily? :confused3

Thanks DU

Just the American Flags ones popped off on Mission Space...on both mine & my nephews...at the same time! Are other ones are STILL in TACT!:thumbsup2 I have a 'Shamrock' , 'skull&crossbones' and a '4 of a kind Aces'!

They are in NO way like the Disney pins that wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too easily fall off their lanyards!

While ITA, I wonder your opinion about Jibbitz and Disney Crocs? :confused3 They will certainly fall OUT before they 'pop' so, my dilemma is: Which Crocs to wear now?!?! I have regular Crocs and 2 pairs of Disney Crocs and Disney Jibbitz just waiting to be worn!!!

:confused3 :confused3

You know what DISUNC? I reached 2000 posts today and took a screen shot of it before my post count hit 2001! And then it struck me that when I read your post the day you hit 10,000 I took a screen shot of it for you (to keep as a souvenir!) and never posted it so here you go..... :thumbsup2

Of course had I mentioned it at the time it would have seemed like a nice gesture. Now it just seems like I'm a psycho freak hoarding things of yours on my computer. :lmao: :rotfl2: Honestly forgot about it til now! ;)

Wow I just finished reading your TR and can't wait for the rest.

I found you by way of UtahMama's TR (which I'm still reading) and I found her TR through TwinkieMama (great report, couldn't post because it was closed). I have so enjoyed all of them and wish I could write like that. :thumbsup2

Love the squirrel (one of my nicknames is Squirrely Shirley) so the squirrel could have been a friend. :rotfl2:

I must be a distant relative to your family because I too have the gene to not know what is going on around me. I have always said I could be watching America's Most Wanted and be talking to the person they were profiling and wouldn't have a clue (I guess I will never get money for turning in someone). I am usually 3 months behind on what's going on around me, just got to love that dream world.

I also am a pepsi person and feel no shame about carrying my canned pepsi's to WDW. Best thing is coming back to the room at night and sitting down with an ice cold pepsi, heaven.

Keep the TR coming, I actually printed the first page so that I can mark off as I read the next chapter. Since I'm at work I have to keep track of what I've read.

You have a great day.

Had to post to say how much I have enjoyed this trip report. I found it by way of Montana Disney Fan's TR "The Man Report" (an extremely funny and highly recommended read :thumbsup2).

Can't wait for the next installment. Your trip to NASA reminded me of my own trip there when I was in Florida for the first time in fourth grade... There was only the Magic Kingdom then. Epcot was under construction, so we spent three days in MK and then headed out to explore the other Florida attractions. NASA was by far one of the coolest places I had been to in my mere ten years of existence...

Bring on the next segment...

:ssst: Hey DU...I think she really is a "psycho freak hoarding things of yours on my computer"

:lmao: Just kidding...she writes a pretty mean trippie. I mean I need something to do between your installments right? :scared: :hyper:

Oh thanks for the jibbitz update! Here I got you a new flag one..... catch..:duck:
