Pop Century Wonderful

As I prepared for this trip I read many threads about Pop Century resort and most were very good and some were just plain whining in my opinion. I was very versed on what to expect and the POP Century resort delivered on everything. I heard people complain about the following: Rooms were too small, that is very incorrect the rooms are very adequate and with enough room for my family of 4. If most people complain about the size then I think they should pay premium prices rather than a very good deal at POP. Also people complain about the waits at the bus. Again another whininer. The buses at POP century are great in the 5days we were there and they were busy days 10 minutes was the longest wait even back from the parks. The food court was also great very affordable for a resort prices very acceptable.
The last whiner statement from people is that the resort is too big to walk again another whine. The distance betwwen the main hall and even the last 50's building and the 90's building is no more than a 150 yards. Eveything is very close and easy to walk to. I give 4 stars to the Pop from the staff the resort complex itself it is a great place to spend your time and visit Disney.

We stayed in the 50's unit C and found the houskeeping to be great and rooms very clean and no noise. You can also go right around the building and watch the fireworks so up at the parks.

We checked in on opening day, and we loved it. We're hoping to stay there again in either November or December!

I agree--we never waited more than a couple of minutes for the bus, we loved the food court, and the walk didn't bother us a bit (we were in the 70's(I think--the one with the 8-track tapes), section B, about as far from the main building as you could get) and it was no more than five minutes to the bus stop.

The room was the same size as All Star Music, which was big enough for three adults and two weeks worth of luggage.

I can't wait to go back!
