We are arriving 11/11 and will have our 4 yr old DS with us. When I made out initial reservation in July, I asked for the 50's or 60's (standard view) building.

We are due to pay off our trip this wk and I was wondering if any of you experienced Poppers have any other suggestions before I call (or do online checkin). This is our 1st time staying at Pop (& on-site, period). If you have other location suggestions (for the room), I'd love to hear them

Good news and bad news today:

Good news: I only have 8 days before I leave.

Bad News: I managed to lose my Driver's License and it's the only picture ID that I had. Replacements are on the way, and if they don't arrive before I leave a friend is going to over night them to me.

That being said I called Disney Travel and they said I should be fine to check in without the photo ID since I have the original credit card, my Social Security card and the temporary driving permit I was given by my DMV.

Are they correct, or will I have problems checking in to Pop?

I *think* our MBs will be on their way soon. I hope they make it on time. We have never, ever gotten Mickey mail, etc. before a trip before. Darn slow Canada Post, I guess?!

Canadians will pick up their customized bands from the resort. They don't ship them to Canada.

We check into Pop on Oct 19th and received a no fridge letter in the mail today

Anyone else receive this yet for that time frame?

We are going on the 12th and haven't heard anything. Our ta even told us that we are expected to have one. I am pretty concerned but we won't starve without one. Plenty of other breakfast snacks.

We arrive the same day and no letter yet. Hopefully that's a good sign!

We had a 4th floor lakeview room in the 60's and could see fireworks! Not sure what park they were from.

We'll be there on the 26th and I didn't receive one either.....some people are posting they have new refrigerators....hopefully that's a good sign.

I got a letter from Disney today. I figured it was the "no refrigerator" letter. It wasn't....phew. it was a photopass letter regarding the 45 day expiration on your pictures.

I know we have to pick up the bands at the resort but my concern is DME. It stated that the MB is the ticket for DME but if we don't get them will they know to ship the regular DME package?

I got my DME package even before getting access to MB's. I think they are separately handles eventhough your DME information will be in the MB's waiting at the resort for Canadians like us.

You should still get your ME luggage tags in the mail. We had a package booked for August at Pop with MB's. We received our ME vouchers about 4 weeks before the trip.

We are staying at AofA in October with a RO reservation and getting new MB's. We received our ME vouchers 4 to 5 weeks before our trip.

Does anyone have number for actual POP resort not Disney reservations? Is it 407-938-4000? We are driving down on Friday. Not sure if we will make it all the way to Orlando or stop along the way. Our actual reservation does not start until Sat. So if we make it all the way I was going to call POP when we are nearing the area to see if we can check in a day early. Anyone ever done this? If we do this we would not be getting in until very late around midnight.

Which Icon were you next to??

We were very close to the green Yo Yo staircase, the fireworks we saw were not straight off our balcony but to the right of our building kind of behind AoA if that makes any sense. We were in the Jungle Book building lakeview side 4th floor, down the walkway from the green YoYo stairs!!!

Not until Nov 17th so I know I still 2-3 weeks before I get them, I was just scared when it said that the MB's are our DME tickets.
