When you call, tell them you have a special needs request for a medical issue and that a first floor will work best. When it becomes a special needs request, it is far more likely to be taken care of...you do not have to tell them why...if the CM does not understand call special needs directly:Well I DID have a problem with the online check-in this morning so I may have to call up there directly.
It didn't take my changed credit card # (not wanting to use the same card to charge in-room expenses once there as I used to pay the ressie. Not a bigge, I can fix that on-site).
The thing I need to call about is it didn't accept my room requests. I wanted to stay 60's in a non-preffered on the ground floor (basically, the backside of the building towards the lake and away from the pool. I need the ground floor because even though I appear to be a perfectly healthy 30-something year old male, I have had reconstructive knee surgery in the past and doctors have warned me before to avoid stairs as much as possible. It's not a huge bigge and I'm certainly not disabled in any way. Just preventative maintenance so to speak and something i would prefer.
I'm guessing I could just call the main desk up there right? What # would that be and when would be a good time to do that (as in, how soon does the reservation start showing up in the HOTELS system so I can get them to mark it?)
So now that I've bored you with all the details............
The count is down to 10589 minutes as of 10:01 pm EST. I guess I'll cross that 10,000 minute threshold tomorrow!![]()

I am sure you will have a first floor room. As we all know, when dealing with Disney, the nicer you are, the more they want to help!
Have a great trip!!!

- yes I did this!
) Universal has a strict locker system for their headliners, if you have ANYTHING in your hands that you can't stash in a pocket or hide, they will make you get in line for a locker, before you get in line for the ride. In the rest of the park it doesn't matter so much, but this is absolutely crucial to the HP plan. No backpacks, no water bottles, no nothing. Empty hands.
by our own
The company he works for he knew this would happen they do it to everyone so it isnt' a surprise.
