Just got back yesterday from Disney and did a split stay at both POP and CSR. For anyone concerned about POP no worries. It is a great resort and awesome bus service and quick dining service. I can't say the same about CSR.

Glad you had a great time at pop. :)

I am excited to hear this!! This will be my first stay at POP and one reason I chose it over other values is b/c i heard the bussing was so good. Last time we went, we stayed at Poly so we had a few more options for transportation and it was something I was concerned about.

Thanks again for the feedback!!:thumbsup2

:moped: OK so we can't all fit on a moped...I will do a new ticker :goodvibes

Shhhh...don't encourage me :rotfl:

Oh I chuckled at who ever said that with 3 days left, you had 3 days to make changes. I'm normally the one who obsesses over making changes, but clings like a life raft to plans set in stone, or something like that. Have a great trip. pixiedust:

:cool1: Harry Potter rocks! :thumbsup2 Last summer we took my DD and her BFF to Universal for a few days, specifically to see WWoHP. Forbidden Journey is fantastic. We ate in the 3 broomsticks every day. You will love it!

WWoHP is our main reason for Universal. How did you find the rest of the park? I've read so many reviews my head is spinning. Some are good, some are bad. I figure with a month in Orlando, we can spare 2 or 3 days.:goodvibes

Just read on another thread about Pop Warner week being the first week of December, the same time me and DW are taking our two babies to POP Century. Has anyone had any experience with Pop Warner Week? How loud and crazy is it with all the extra kids running around? Just wanted to know because I may cancel our reservations and go earlier or later. Thanks.

I have been at WDW during the Cheerleaders being there and about the only time it affected me was when they were ALL and I do mean ALL arriving at the Park at Rope Drop for an event !!It wasn't a huge in convenience but I wanted to be in the Park not waiting for all of them !!

Down to 11913 minutes as of 11:27 EST! ::yes:::lmao:

I get to do online check-in tomorrow!

Thank you for the reply. Hopefully it won't affect us. I'm just a litle nervous this trip having the 2 babies along. DS is light sleeper, has night terrors sometimes and cries out in his sleep 3-4 times a night so quite for him (and us) means everything. I just hope there not staying at POP!:scared:

We spent most of our time at IOA (and specifically the HP area ), we did take in Spiderman (loved it), the water rides (jurassic park, Ripsaw falls, the popeye ride you will get soaked!), my DDs friend went on the hulk. Because of the girls (and mine) fascination with HP this was our main focus area. We rode FJ many, many times, dueling dragons, Flight of the Hippogriff (a family coaster) we sat for the show outside the castle area which we enjoyed. The Wand show is very short, only one child for choosen for the wand experience but we liked it (nice to get in out of the heat). The owlery (gift shop) is tiny, as is Zonkos, both should of been larger, but we braved the crowds anyway! A true fan of HP will really love this area. :) We only walked thru the Cat in the Hat area.

We went over to the studios side and spent some time there taking in the classics, ET, Jaws, and the girls liked the Simpsons ride, plus the RipTide Rockit. We didn't spend a whole lot of time there.

Overall, we would go back .. for HP really. We are looking forward to having this area expanded. I think with a month in Orlando, it is well worth it to spend a fews in Universal. :goodvibes

:yay: for on-line check-in!! Hope it works smoothly for you ... some posters have been having a few issues with it.

 No experience personally, only what I read. The All Stars resorts (and sometimes the mods) are the usual areas for the Pop Warner kids; however, Pop has been known to have them too.

You have a standard room and are requesting lakeview (and an upper floor) which is good. I wouldn't want to be pool facing as would expect the kids to be in them at night and the noise level would be greater. At check-in you can also inquire if PW is at POP and ask to be located away from that area. :)

Good thing too .. is that PW doesn't really affect the crowd levels in the parks as they are competing during the days. The competition is usually the first week, do from the calendar it looks like 12/1-8. When will you be arriving?

ears2ya2 whenever I've been there during sporting/cheer/dance events we haven't been bothered too much. The football players were never any trouble at all. The cheer/dance teams seem to like to practice wherever they happen to be .... not all just some. Years ago we were staying at CBR and all the teams got up early in the morning and spread out thruout the resort and practiced their routines .... that only happened on that one trip and it really wasn't a deal breaker we just didn't need to set an alarm! :thumbsup2 My last trip to POP there were several large groups of girls and the were as nice as could be ... no problem. In fact one time they let all the other guests on the bus and waited for the next one. Because of the age of your children I think you'll be in different areas of all the parks than the PW kids. Follow Janet's advice and you should be fine. Enjoy your vacation!!!

I haven't changed mine either. :upsidedow
We are no longer going to Nickelodeon and arrive at POP in 5 days, not 7. whoo hoo!
:cool1: That's a great decision....JMHO

Love the new ticker! :thumbsup2

Was it 2003....I was at CBR and it drove me nuts...and I usually don't mind cheerleaders. Didn't ruin our trip...just tainted my view of CBR I think :sad2:

I can't remember what year it was but I think it was before that. I think CBR is my least favorite resort and I want to like it so bad ... I just love all the music. I could sit by the pool for hours and just listen to it. I'm hoping I get the same type of music at OKW???? :confused3

Glad to hear that you liked it. :thumbsup2 OKW will be at the end of my trip and also the solo part so I think I'll be spending a lot of time at the pool just relaxing. :beach:
