I'll be there to take those glow sticks, rain or shine.... for rain, there was talk of invading someone's room... although we may need to invade a couple... or the POP food court... either way, I'll be glowing and can't wait to get my hands on some glow juice!!!! .... no more work for 2 weeks!!!! But not getting to POP for about 29 hours... hope everyone has a safe trip and I can't wait to meet you all on Saturday!

OMG! Glow Granny has had 2 weeks to send out our necklaces, and I just checked and they HAVEN'T!!! I am so PI**ED!!!!!! I emailed them and told them unless they could overnight them to POP then I expected a full refund! I apologize to all of you, I really thought I would have gotten them yesterday! I'll let you know what is happening as soon as I know!

Sadly, Welcome Back everyone. It was great fun meeting you at the Glow Party. Hope everyone had a safe & happy time at Disney & Pop. I took my glowing earrings and placed them on one of the towel animals after the party....quite a sight

Gregory & I had a bit of excitement on the way home. Plane was delayed 2 hours due to the storms, and then 15 minutes or so into our flight something smelled like it was burning. So....we turned around and VERY quickly got back to MCO where we were greeted by the local firefighters & their equipment following closely behind us and greeting us as we disembarked the plane . Needless to say, that was way too much excitement for me! Got into Baltimore 4 hours past planned arrival time, restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed at 11pm, and I had to go to work today

Have to give BIG kudos to the flight crew of Southwest 928 - they did a terrific job of keeping us safe and informed enough to give us info we needed but not send us into a panic.

just got back last night. missed the party .hope you all had fun DD23 and her friend were in room 1402 .right in front of the pool. they had their window decorated real cute. pumpkins and the mickey candle holders i and my DH and the dog rented a townhome last minute in windsor hills since he decided 6 days before that he would go .we had a great time so happy there was no rain on the 21st the party was great watched both parades

I've been back for 2 days now and trying to get back into the swing of things. Took a 2 hour nap this morning after the kids left for school. Trying to enjoy my last day home since I have to go back to work tomorrow. I'm sooooo glad I decided to take an extra day.

The glow party was a great turnout. I didn't think so many people would actually show up. It was great to put a face to a name. Although I didn't get to stay very long, I did meet quite a few of you. Hope you all had a great time on your trip.

Hi, guys! We got back yesterday and I'm still sad to be home, but glad I don't have to be back at work til Monday

I made it to the Glow Party very late around 11:45 and was pleasantly surprised to see so many people still glowing!! It was wonderful to get to meet those of you that were still there! We had a Very long and tiring first day so we did not stay very long. Next time I go to Disney I will make sure that I don't have too much planned on the meet up day!

We did not end up booking the bounceback trip. Dh & I have been wanting to try to put together a trip to Europe and I think we are going to do it this coming year. Unfortunately, I couldn't convince him that there was room in the budget for both

Well, I'll be checking in to see how everyone's trips went! I haven't decided yet if I'm gonna do a trip report, but if I do I'll post the link.

Hello everyone!

I just got back late last night also. Guess what I'm doing today -

We had a nice trip, but it feels good to be home. We were sooo tired our first day and had MNSSHP that night. Like foxfiregrrl, next time I won't plan an evening event the day we get in.

It was really nice to get to meet a lot of you. I'm too tired to post anything else right now....maybe after my nap....

Hello all! We got back last night.

We were at the Pop Glow party for a little while.
Met Utah mama there, and then on the bus to MK.
Met Farrah/Heath & Javen's mom on the bus from AK when we noticed her stroller label said "Heath and Javen," and took a chance that it was really her, and not another Heath and Javen's mom.

Met Sarah/KindaKrazy....on the bus at Pop too???

Met Linda/SG at the party and saw her again at MK the night of the electric parade.
Also met Disneymom1965 and her dh at the party, and several others whose names I can no longer remember.

Met a nice lady -- screen name LabDogs(something something) on Test Track, and met SafetyMom's dd, who happens to be a WDW employee.

Whew. It was the week of DIS board sightings!

Also ran into a girl from our home town, who goes to my Curves, whom I had informed about potential free dining when I heard that she was Disneymooning in Sept., never talked to again until at WDW. [What's the odds?]
She introduced me to her new dh as the woman who told her about free dining, and he shook my hand and thanked me for saving them a lot of money.

Just doing my part to spread the pixied dust throughout the world.

We did come home with a nasty upper respitory virus, but we can't blame WDW, as we caught it from my niece who was with us.

My FIL had a massive heart attack and catherization and a mini stroke from the cath while we were gone, but it was all taken care of by the time they got a hold of us, so they told us to stay. It would have taken 2 days to drive home anyway. He is home from the hosp and recovering well. Whew.
We are sooooo thankful that he was not with us in WDW like originally planned, as he probably would have ignored the symptoms and who knows....


My mom survived our dragging her around for 10 days. She even liked it!

She says she probably will not ever go back, but we're happy she got to experience and understand just a bit of why we love it there.
The kids are missing her today.
