Love your poster. I hope mine comes out as good as yours. If not, wanna do mine too? I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend so I can get it out the way.

Kelli, you are welcome for the prescription reminder.:)

AKSunshine, congrats on your 1,000 posts!:cheer2:

LorilieMarie, I love that poster! Doubt I have the time or the talent to do such but I will look out for it and you!:woohoo:

DisneyDeeva, those crayons sound good but you not only have to have artistic ability but be able to draw backward so it will appear correctly on the other side of the window. I have a friend who does the drawings on the local library windows. I, myself, can only draw flies. :confused3

The roofers will be here shortly and should finish the roof tonight. I am fixing them dinner and some neighbors are coming over so that I do not have leftovers. Someone HAS to take the potato chips home so I am not left alone with them. Bad things happen when potato chips are around. I am allergic to them (and many other foods). They make me SWELL up!

:lmao: :lmao: You always know what to say to make me laugh. Can't wait to meet you.

Okay,

So tomorrow is the big day.. My results are in and the neurologist will be letting me know if I am going to be able to go to WDW:) or not:sad1: . I won't be on the puter till late tomorrow or Thursday a.m.

Keep your fingers crossed that all is well :grouphug:

I love you guys

Everything will be just fine. We'll be here waiting for your next post.

Circling up for Kellie - thoughts, prayers, pixiedust:

Hoping your mil is improving steadily Dismom5!!!

love (lŭv) pronunciation
n.

1. A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.

Yep, just thought I had better check. Kelliblue, we DO loveyou!

minnieandme, I cannot wait to meet you and sign your poster too! :thumbsup2

DisneyMom5, bet your mil is wanting to get better fast too! I hope she continues in the right direction and for a very long time to boot!!

Garage roof done and paid for. Now I have the clean up to do. Why did no one tell me that the inside of the garage was going to get dirty too? I just finished cleaning the darned thing and now I have it all to do over again. I am also stuck with a couple of bags of shingles that have to be put up in the rafters and I can no longer manage that myself. Anyone know how to levitate? :wizard:

Freezers defrosted today and everything put in alphabetical order. Did you know I am German? I am the good kind though. I would make the trains run on time but am not interested in making anyone, let alone whole countries, march to my tune. Heck, I can barely hum a tune. :dance3:

Thanks minnieandme - If you get in a bind with your poster I can cut the shapes out and send them to you - Layering the characters took me hours!

Sending love  and support :grouphug: to Kelli

SlightlyGoofy: Are you always that funny? or do you lay awake at night trying to figure out how to make our day? :rotfl:

I'm single and I post everyday

I'm a single parent and yes it is hard. You wanna know the hardest part; it's going back to work when you have a newborn baby and still having to get up at 2am for feedings. I think I got maybe 3 hours of sleep at night. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I can't even imagine. When Hunter was first born I could barely function & I was lucky to have my DH there to help me out. I'm definitely taking the advice of others on here & trying to get a schedule set up for Hunter so that I can keep him busy & occupied throughout the day.

That is an awesome poster! I'm so jealous that I'm not more creative.

Keli~I'm thinking of you. I know the results are going to come back positive & you are going to be with all of us at WDW.

Oh, and the Glow Party Medical curse has hit my family too. I spent today at the hospital with my Dear Uncle (practically raised me). Had a small cancerous spot removed from his bladder last year and his last checkup indicated abnormal cells. Went in for a biopsy today. Thank the Lord, the doctor says everything looks fine but we'll know more when the lab results come back. Ok, send some pixie dust back this way!

Gail
Hi Gail,
I hope that your Uncle's lab results come back okay. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.

LorilieMarie, I yam what I yam. I do not know any other way to be. It is either laugh at life or sit with my thumb in my mouth (or a gun). I have a fairly extensive vocabulary because I read an average of a book a day :coffee: but if you promised me money for each long word or laugh I would freeze up and not be able to deliver at all. It is the way I am built, I guess. An acquired taste is what I are.

I am fast typist but cannot hear hardly anything so I think I am different in person somewhat. Who knows??:yay:

Ever notice that these boards seem to attract the nicest folks? If not, look in the mirror - ALL of you!

Aww I completely agree. Everyone on this thread is so nice. :goodvibes

Linda, you sound a bit like my doppelganger (don't know how to do an umlaut on the computer)...or maybe, I'm yours. I'm deaf in my right ear - have been since I can remember. I'm a voracious reader and love unusual or uncommon words. Recent favorites being "fractious" and "sycophant". I have a Webster's dictionary right next to the bed in case, while I'm reading, there is a word I need to look up.

Can't wait to meet you in person!!

DisneyDeeva, you show off you. I had to actually look up the word "umlaut'. I vaugely remember the word from way back when but as with most things left unused it atrophied and fell off my knowlege list long ago. However I do know what all the other words mean. BTW, let me ask you this - "Do you feel, as I do, that Reader's Digest has dumbed down its vocabulary quiz?" I used to miss one now and then and I do NOT think I am getting smarter!:teacher:

I am deaf in my left ear so as long as you sit on my right we should be alright. :dance3:

I have a Eurorail Pass book next to my bed. I read all the dictionaries long ago.

For those who are checking my syntax (I pay plenty of it btw) please be advised that I have become incredibly lazy since succumbing to the lure of the Internet. :sad2:

Looking forward to meeting also. I hope my memory card is large enough to accomadate all the pictures I am going to need to take to keep you all straight. Since I have never been able to do so with myself I am a bit worried. :scared1:

Linda - your edit line had me :rotfl2: !! I hate to admit I'm a teacher with all my errors - I finally figured out I needed to spell restaurant correctly ALL the time - now I need to work on ridiculous!! (I know rediculous doesnt look right, only sounds right!!)

One of my favorite big words escapes me right now, and its driving me batty!! I'll post it at 2 am when it hits me!! I used to love reading the Readers Digest on Expand you Vocabulary Quiz, I knew I was retaining stuff when I actually knew half of them!!

Any Keli News??? Just checking!! :wizard:

Here's our door poster I just made. Sorry for the poor quality [the mickey heads are actually pink and yellow btw] picture, it was taken with a camera phone. Our digital camera battery is dead and I can't get the back off to put new ones in! :upsidedow

I know it's nothing special, and it ain't too pretty, but it works. I'll have a pen or thin marker or something there to sign it with, I promise. So if you guys see this please sign your name. :)

Any word on Keli yet? popcorn::

BP, your poster is good. I forgot that I should attach a marker to the door for folks to sign (duh)

I'm working today (substitute for 1st grade :faint: Hope they dont cry too long!)

Keli I'll be checking back - you're in my thoughts and prayers!! :wizard:

I am joining the chorus of folks who are waiting to hear from Kelli. I hope she is far too busy, out celebrating the good news, to check in with us and is totally embarrassed at having forgotten us and will regale us with a voluminous posting of all the details. (how do you like that run on sentence?);)

eeyore45, everyone has a few words that they just plain cannot remember. My bil can barely spell 'cat' yet he is one of the best teachers I know and I know many. I once corrected a note sent home by one of my dd's teachers. I plumb forgot that she had a younger brother who might suffer from the fallout. Since I used to volunteer to grade papers for teachers so that they could actually have a 'life' I doubt that anyone held it against me though.

I cannot wait to hear what you favorite word is. My ten year old grandson's favorite word is the one I teach all my grandkids when they are small.

"Antidisestablishmentarinism" He knows what it means too.

As far as putting posters on the doors I would go with buying some magnetic tape at the craft shop and use that so that the poor housekeepers do not have to clean all the stuff off the doors or worse yet, the maintenance men will not have to repaint the doors. (btw, maintenance is my word I cannot spell)

Good idea, I'll definitely go look for some of that this weekend.
