Pop Century, Could it open early?

Has it ever happened with a new resort? I'm doubting that it can be done because of staffing, etc. but I wish it were true. We will just miss it on our vacation.

I seriously doubt they will open it any earlier. I was just thrilled to see they were opening it at all. It's been waiting for guests for about 2 years now. Mickey

Actually they will probably have a soft opening about a week early for CM's and travel agents. That's genrally the case when WDW opens a new resort (or attraction of any kind.)

What I'm wondering is if the food court and gift shop might have a soft opening for those of us who are already at WDW the week before Pop Century opens so that we could go over and "check it out".

If you have your own vehicle, it won't hurt to drive by the entrance and if they let you in, GREAT!!

But don't expect Disney transport to be running over there until the first public guest checks in.
