Pop Century Bus Service

I love the resort, but the bus service coming back from the MK on Saturday night was the absolute worst I have ever encountered. We have stayed at nearly every resort on site (CR, Poly, AKL, YC, WL, POR, POFQ, CSR, CBR, ASMu, ASSp, ASMo, Swan, and Dolphin) and the wait time for the bus back to the resort was 45 minutes; this was after waiting 30 full minutes after the fireworks. They used two full stansion groups and still had a line running back past the All Star lines. The transportation staff was visibly stressed, and did a great job of trying to keep the busses moving. I have been in what I thought were long lines before at Park closings when resorts shared a bus (like POFQ/POR and S/D/YC/BC/BWI) but those lines were nothing. Kudos to the staff and bus drivers for keeping the lines going as fast as they were.

Tampafan--We were at CSR in October and, unfortunately, I experienced the "exact" same problem. We slowly took our time leaving the parks to avoid the long lines and standing on the bus. We waited easily 45 minutes if not more. They actually ended up finally pulling a bus off another route and using it to transport us. We made the 2nd bus and it was still packed solid and huge lines still behind us awaiting the 3rd bus.

Hoping this improves--just booked yesterday for PC in early May. DD picked this resort though I would have preferred POFQ.

We had the same problem the week prior on Saturday. Long long lines that moved very slowly, even after waiting awhile before going out to the bus line. As you said, they used two resorts worth of lines and the line was still back halfway to the beginning of the bus lines. It was well over an hour between the time we got to the bus line and when we got back to the resort. I will say, they did go out of their way to keep the buses coming, but there were not always really efficient in loading people in wheelchairs, which often meant a bus sat there for 20 minutes with only the driver and the person in the wheelchair on it before anyone else was even able to board. I fully realize that their safety comes first and they should do whatever they need to to make sure these people are safely transported, but when the lines are that long, they could at least be loading another bus, or *SOMETHING* to keep things moving. However, I will also say that the Tuesday spectromagic was rained out that week, which meant even more crowds in the park on Sat. and that was the *ONLY* time we experienced that sort of delay (or anything even remotely close). The bus service at POP was great otherwise, very frequent as needed. They just need to work on the Sat. crowd management for POP, as all other resort lines seemed to be moving far more efficiently that night.
