Pop century 80's building??? Tell me about it!!!

We liked being in the 80's, it worked very well for us. Our room was very quiet, for the life of me I cannot remember what building but it was definitely a Rubix Cube one. We cut across the parking lot to save time which was nice. I tend to do preferred at Pop, simply because I am a big Mowgli and Mickey Phone fan but as far as location, I liked 80's just fine. Our experince has been that pool is the quietest. Even when we stay in anotehr section, we often go over there for a quiet swim.

To me Pop is a piece of cake to get around, but I am now used to resorts like Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and CBR which are very spread out so my judgement is based on that!

I hope you have a great time, and even if you don't get your request met, you can go over and check out those rubix cubes. My son loves that building but Mom loves Mowgli and the MIckey Phone and I pay so we get preferred now! But we always go over there for photos, the kid is 15 and he still thinks climbing up the stairs inside the rubix is a big deal.

We were at POP in Septmember. They originally had us in the 80's facing the big parking lot in the back on the 3rd floor. It was A LONG WAY from everything!!! luckily the beds were wrong so they had to move us. Not much better though. They put us in the 90's but still a very long way from the hall. Even when my kids were dying to go to the game room, they didn't want to walk!! :rolleyes1 We had to drive to the buses and food court everyday. :sad2: We were on the 1st floor which I thought would be terrible because we were on the shortest route to parking lot. But it wasnt bad. Not much noise at all. And, we didnt have to wait on elevators. However, we were on the opposite side of the pool where I am sure it would have been extremely noisy b/c there were kids out there at all hours.
So you might want to be specific about which 80's building you want...Definately the one closest to the main building!!

Hope this helps.
