POP Centry Epcot View - where was your room?

If you had a view of Epcot from your room at POP can you please tell me what building/room you were in? I know that you can only see the higher fireworks, but would still like to request one of those rooms.

Any help would be appreciated.

50's bldg 3 facing EPCOT upper floor.

We could see SSE (photo 4) and top of Illuminations
WISHES
Tower of Terror (photo 3) and had their been fireworks at DS seen them too Saw them in 06 for private party.

Is the 50s section in the back considered preferred?

We usually stay in the 70's section and I want to try a different view, decade this time. 50's looks like a great place for us!!

First trip was 70's and it was a great view and location....but found my DS (who has special needs) did better in bowling pin pool. So we chose lakeview (for quiet for him) and 50's for the pool. And it was not preferred back there. First time our room was in the last photo under the word DOO. Could not see Illuminations from there but we could hear it. This trip we were on wing that goes out by water and we saw it all.

Turned out to be great. We loved it. The view does include the laundry staging area (the green trailers in one photo over on parking lot) but it was worth it. Close to pool and parking and only a few minute walk to main area. So quiet back there. I was shocked we could watch WISHES. I thought someone was knocking on our door. I looked out and didn't see anyone so I opened curtains and there they were. We pulled up our chairs and enjoyed.

I have to find my paperwork but think we were 3rd floor, so 4th would be even better. We go back next September and requested same spot.

We had, what we felt was a great balance. We took 50’s section, first floor (2462 I think was exact room number) and it was 2nd to last room facing pool. We were able to just stick our head out and look back to see the fireworks at night. It was really nice. The advantage was not dealing with steps at the end of the night with the kids, plus literally walking right out to the pool for evening swims.

HopperFan, we are planning our trip for next September as well. Are we going to be competing for the same area?? We will be at POP from Sept. 19th through the 28th. Hopefully, we will see you there!!

Window will be decorated for Halloween !
A couple weeks ago (ASMu with good AAA rate - none available at POP) we were all decorated for P&PP.

YIPEE!! Look at your window!! That is awesome. We are also planning on decorating our window for Halloween as well. I think that DD(7) will really think that is cool!
