Pop, AoA, or CBR?

What do you not like about CBR? That’s what we have booked and I’m not sure if we will like it or not. I hear good things and bad things about it.

I dislike most the size. My stay was in the Jamaica section. And while the room wasn't that far from a bus stop, it was a bit of a walk to the main buildings. I had a refillable mug, and if I walked up front to fill it, it would be almost empty by the time I got back to my room. And at night after being in the parks all day I would just buy a pop from the machine near my room, instead of hiking up to the food court.

There was also a CM in the food court who was not very friendly. She actually was yelling at guests because they were lining up wrong. I know you can run into someone like that anywhere, but that added to my dislike of CBR. And did I mention the bugs in my room that they came and sprayed for? I called and they asked me if I was in a ground floor room. Which I was. Again, can happen anywhere, but happened to me at CBR.

you could very well need to take a bus to get to the Skyliner or food service
FWIW, everything at CBR is walkable, it just depends on your tolerance level for walking. It could be a long-ish walk to Old Port Royale or the Skyliner depending on your room location, but you do have the option to walk or take a bus internally.

AoA is really nice but the studios are in the far reaches - it's a bit of a walk back to the lobby.
Are you referring to the Little Mermaid rooms? If so, they are standard hotel rooms - not studios. Just clarifying this so no one thinks there's a kitchenette. Anyway, yes they are at the far end of the resort. A long walk is relative and subjective - we had read many reports of this and were fully prepared for a long walk to Animation Hall from our LM room. But we were pleasantly surprised to find it was very manageable. We were in Building 7, right along the path to the Skyliner. You can also cut through the parking lot sidewalk for a faster walk to the bus stops.

OP, I think CBR will give you the most room so that would be my vote. However you decide, you can't go wrong with any of them, but I would definitely choose between those 3. IMO, being on the Skyliner is the best advantage so its hard for me to justify staying elsewhere when there's availability at a Skyliner resort.

We love the POP. The last two summers we have had great, quiet room locations. If just choosing between those 3, I would save the money at POP.

Ok thank you! I think they now have the drink machines throughout the resort. At least I hope so. I won’t buy a mug if not.
