Poor Unfortunate Souls ~ A Spooktacular Trip Back to the World! UPDATE Reality Check

Stefy, the plans look great for your meals. Can't wait to read your plans for your mini trip to Paris.

 Eek, I'd be so nervous an hour in and nothing arriving yet!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm so excited for your Disneyland Paris trip and can't wait to hear more!

I was pretty happy I got a sword lol, I didn't think I would get one :D

I am excited for Paris now because I have just been looking at character hunt type websites and they have Angel from Lilo & Stitch cartoon series in the parks!!! She looks awesome so we will try to grab her for a picture. Oh and they have Elvis Stitch, Dance party stitch (headphones etc), Cowboy Stitch and Santa Stitch :cool1:

They have loads and loads of Stitch merchandise so I am thinking we need bigger suitcases as we were just going to take our Disney World ones, but seeing what I have seen, we will need lots more room :D

Also Robin Hood as well, been waiting aaaaages to get a pic with him :yay:

Finally had a chance to get caught up- your trip is going so well!

Hadn't given much thought to CRT before, but now you've got be thinking I should give it a try!

I don't know anything about DLRP, so it's very interesting to hear details of your trip planing!

Hey All

Hope we are all doing ok.

So I thought that I would incorporate a PTR for DLRP into the thread. Have just got off the phone with dining and made our reservations. So excited :hyper:

I'll do dining first and then let you know day by day what we are hoping to do.

For arrival day dinner will be at
Walts.jpg

Walt's American Restaurant

Quite looking forward to eating here as it's in the Disneyland Park (MK) and apparently you can get a good view of the parade if you are seated near the window.

Next up for Day 2 is
Inventions.jpg

Inventions

A character buffet with an amazing array of food. Dave showed me some pics from someone's review and the food looks soooooooo good!

Last up for departure day is a personal favourite of ours
CafeMickey.jpg

Cafe Mickey

Looking forward to eating here again and also seeing what new characters will be wandering around.

So that's dining all sorted out. We added a meal plan on in the end as when we worked out for paying OOP it was too expensive, although either way is, at least we save some money with the plan :)

Will try and get a day by day plan down for you soon :)

I love your plans for dining! I didn't get to do any sit down restaurants while we were there except for the two that were in our hotel. Every time we passed Cafe Mickey, they were jammed full of people! Definitely taught me that I need to prepare better the next time I visit. I was very out of my element having never been there before.

I don't think so sadly unless it's in another thread, though I think there is a slight glimpse of it on one of our pics. I wore it down my back for the remainder of the night and kept trying to fight stef with it :D

What a great update! We had that table at CRT once too. Loved it, but we didn't get to see the fireworks! Those looked amazing! Sounds like your DLRP plans are coming together! Can't wait to hear about that trip too.

Great updates since the last time I've checked in! Your AK pictures are gorgeous! Too bad it sounds like it was crowded that day. I get tired out from the AK on a totally dead day, so I can't imagine how I would fare on a packed day!

Your CRT experience looked amazing! What a score with that table! I don't think I've ever seen a cooler view of the fireworks. That glass slipper is beautiful - great job, Dave! :thumbsup2

Thank you :) Will try and get an update later on DLRP and maybe Day 4 :teeth:

Dec 28th cannot come sooner I tell you!!! Can you believe I'm more excited for DLRP than Christmas itself!!!

CRT is a great restaurant, you got good food, characters and you get to eat in the castle :teeth:

The last time we were there we literally got walk up to Cafe Mickey. We were still newbs back then to Disney and didn't really know about the other restaurants etc

I'm excited to eat at Cafe Mickey again, we had so many great memories from that place. If you read my PTR (link on first page) I actually posted some pics from DLRP and some Chef Mickey ones if your interested :) Might be a good idea to search the thread though :)

Thank you :) I remember from your TR that you and Liz snagged that table :)

Soooo excited for DLRP, is it Dec yet?

AK is a big park, but so beautiful. The crowds were not fun, you constantly have to watch where you are going because other people don't and stroller people (no offence to anyone on here but...) they seem to have a knack of only look forwards at oncoming traffic and not to the sides :confused3 Anywho, rant over.

Sadly my slipper isn't on display at the moment as we don't have the shelf room, but as soon as we get our own place that baby is going straight on the shelf :)

I'm so glad that you liked the chocolate slipper. :goodvibes

The glass slipper is lovely!

After reading your post on CRT, I think I want to go back again. We did not have good luck there the last two times we went, but I really want to go back again now! It looks like you had the perfect table for Wishes as well. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear all about DLRP!!!

Wow, you're up late/early!

We will try and convince Joe to go to CRT don't you worry :)

Hey Guys

How are we all today?

We are so excited for Disneyland Paris next month, even more so now that Dave has told me Angel is in the parks and if you grab her between shows you can get a picture with her. So that's my number one priority mission must do. Wish me luck :teeth:

So I figured I would give a mini day by day guide. Obviously we want to do everything, so I won't clog up this post with every single ride photo etc.

On arrival day we get in at around 1:30pm ish, we can leave our bags on the train as we paid extra for the Disney Luggage Express thingy and we also get checked in on the train for our hotel and tickets, so we can go straight to the park. First stop will be Disneyland Park (MK). We're going to try and do as much as we can, catch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony before heading to dinner at Walt's and then stake out a spot for the parade.

Day 2 will be at the Studios to again try and do as much as we can before heading to dinner at Inventions and then over to Disneyland Park for some evening fun.

Departure Day will be an early start at Disneyland Park see what we can accomplish there, if we have enough time we'll hop on over to the Studios for some last min rides on RnR etc before heading to lunch at Cafe Mickey's and then a spot of shopping after.

Our Must Must Do List is:

Space Mountain 2

Stitch Live

ToyStoryPlayland.jpg

Toy Story Playland

Crush.jpg

Crush's Coaster

Is it December yet? :santa:

Wow, I knew that Disneyland Paris has the super cool Space Mountain, but I didn't know about Toy Story Playland and Crush's Coaster! Obviously new additions since I went several years ago now. Not knowing anything more about them than their names and the pictures you've provided, I'm officially excited for you! :thumbsup2

It was a great night and much preferred to the day of shopping :rotfl:

We haven't watched Fantasia or Beauty & The Beast yet, we just haven't had time or have been doing other things. She is dragging me to see Harry Potter this weekend (Ugh :headache:) so maybe we will watch one on Sunday perhaps.
