Love this pic with the balloons in.

All in all the DP was good, but not quite what I expected it to be. Maybe it was because I only went up once but the selection just wasn't all that. Don't get me wrong though it was a great evening and I love me some desserts, but I don't think we will do it again. Now its all about the buffet's on the Dream. Anyone seen the photos of Cabana's buffet? YUM-MAH!!!

I'll leave you with this last picture :)

Bravo Bravo:worship:

I wish I had a video of Dave screaming like a girl:rotfl2:
(I could compare it to mine)

I love the whole setup at TOT but I hate it at the same time. :confused3 Scares the bejesus out of me! You guys are such a cute couple and just look like Disney was made for you two to enjoy!

I hope everything doesn't get too much with the wedding plans. I remember all that like it was yesterday and don't miss it. Sometimes you need to just take a day off from everything and just reset.

As always, looking forward to the next update!

Another fabulous day! I love TOT! It is so fun plus the theming is so awesome! I also would love to hear Dave screaming like a girl:lmao: I'm glad to hear your review of Narcoosees. I'm debating between Citrocos and Narcoosees for my birthday trip next January so I'll be waiting to hear what you think of Citrocos this fall. I've watched the fireworks from that terrace before. (This was before the Dessert Buffet.) It was a decent view, but I still prefer the view from Main Street. Of course it is nice not to have all the crowds around.

great update!!

um... that was a plastic spider in the photo... right!? :scared1: lol

Nice to hear your thoughts on the Dessert Party.. we're hoping to book one during our honeymoon (dates have not been released yet), I think it will be nice to have a good spot to watch 'Let the Memories Begin', Wishes & the MSEP! :wizard:

Emma princess: x

Nope that spider was as real as they get :D

I was crapping myself walking through the line, never again! I think it's worse for first time riders because if you're like me, you will be constantly wondering when the hell you will drop! Didn't help that there was nothing to hold onto!

The meal was nice and I'm glad that we finally tried lobster without it costing us a fortune but it definitely wasn't what I thought it would be. Think I might try some again another time to see if it was just the chefs own style.

In other news......Arsenal kicked Barcelonas *** woohoo!!!!

Awesome update! I would have lost my ever loving mind if I saw that spider. I would have screamed and jumped up and down like a 2 year old! Holy crap!!!!!

We felt the same way about the dessert party. For me, it was more about the fab view of Wishes than the desserts. Oh, and the pixie dust on the table that I promptly collected and put into my purse. :lmao:

It looks like you had an amazing day!

Oh, and Soopafly...............why haven't I seen you on my PTR yet? Hint, hint. :lmao::lmao:

Oops sorry! For some reason I haven't really been keeping up to date with reports and such, haven't been online at home and have only been able to look at quick threads on the theme parks and cruise boards. I will sign up soon I promise :)

Awesome update! I LOVE the "See ya real soon" written with a letter in each pumpkin... :cloud9: I saw that a couple years ago when I went in October and I remember loving it then too!

It's pretty funny. Maybe I will try and film it this year and make him go on

Thanks :) Wedding plans are really starting to come along, most of the major stuff is done now I gots to get on to all the other smaller bits. I love it really, but when you got a full time job it sucks having to do your own stuff before work, during lunch and after work - so not enough time!

Another update will be coming soon, I think we have 3 days left :(

Thank you :) Yes Dave was pretty funny on ToT :teeth:

Will defo let you know about Citrico's can't wait to try it out and be nice to get dressed up too :) You didn't have to so much for Narcoossee's.

great update!!

Thanks :) I wish it was a plastic spider. Dave was all like "come here, come here" thinking it was something cool I stupidly went over only to find that horrible thing (not a spider or insect lover) :sad2:

Hope you get to book the Dessert Party, it really is alot of fun and should be experienced at least once on WDW trips.

OMG so would I, I would have been half way down that verandah before it even touched the ground :lmao:

The view is really good from the Terrace, but am thinking we would like to watch it from Main Street now just to get the shots of the Castle full front.

I did the same with the pixie dust too :teeth:

Awesome update! I LOVE the "See ya real soon" written with a letter in each pumpkin... :cloud9: I saw that a couple years ago when I went in October and I remember loving it then too!

Thank you :) I love the pumpkins, is a nice touch after having a wonderful day at the most magical place on earth :goodvibes

There is no way in hell that i'm going back on TOT :scared1: I never used to get nervous about riding anything but every year you get older you seem to get more nervous about these things. Joe can take you on it while me and Sophia chill with a beverage or something :thumbsup2

Amen to that! No freaking way will I go near that thing!

"Now I love the show, but we had a few problems during. First there was a woman sitting behind Dave that just had to have her feet up on the back of his chair and to make matters worse kept fidgeting, in the end I had to turn around and say could she please move her feet as he had a big bruise on his bum lol. She kept her feet down the whole time after that. The second downer during the show was that I was sitting next to a snotty man (snotty as in cold) who was constantly blowing his nose, at one point he blew so hard I actually felt a drop of water This resulted in the rest of the trip with me catching whatever Mr McGermy had and getting sick Luckily it was towards the end of the trip, but was still a bummer."

That is so gross, ewww! I hate when people don't think about other people and kick the back of your seat or have their foot up so you can smell their stinky feet:crazy2:

I agree with you about Narcoossee's. We went and it was nice being able to watch the fireworks at night but the food was just ok. We thought about giving Citrico's a chance too. I would love to stay at GF one day (love the victorian style) but it's not in my budget so eating there is almost as good :sad2: lol:tink:one day maybe:cloud9:

Happy to hear your wedding plans are coming along. For me I had everything done ahead of time and thought I could relax the last month or two but I'll tell you no matter how much you plan the last month you'll be so busy and stressed out! I would recommend a couple massage the week before you say I do. :bride::groom:

Great update.
I am curious about the dessert party I am still waffling on booking it.
Glad you liked the lobster, the presentation was nice but I can see the potential of it flying off your plate while cutting into it.
3 D&B wristlets, good for you, they are adorable.
I am always single rider on the "scary" rides. DH will not do them, he can't deal with not being in control. I prefer it;), not being in control.:rotfl:
Soopafly,
I want to hear more about the screaming brat next door. I always get the screaming brat next door, seriously!
Can't wait to read more and any ideas on your costumes for next year?

:laughing:Where do I start without sounding like a moany Brit.....

The family next door checked in about 6-7 days into our trip I think, there was the parents and their kid. Every night without fail the kid would scream and cry and whine and scream and on and on and on for hours, most days we got repeatedly woken up at around 3-5am which was becoming very frustrating especially since we were both feeling ill towards the end of the trip and needed sleep! The other thing that didn't help was that the parents were getting frustrated as well and were arguing and slamming the doors to the bathroom and hallway which was probably not helping the kid either.

We have never complained to the front desk about anything ever but we actually went down at one point and spoke to somebody about it. We loved our location and did not want to move, even if they offered to move us to concierge or something we probably wouldnt have gone but we wanted to see if a manager or someone could speak with the family next door to try and do something about it, perhaps move them somewhere else or warn them

The front desk did leave a message on our phone at one point and said that in no way should we have to deal with this situation and that if it happens again just call them and they will send somebody to see what's going on which we had to do, but in typical fashion they stopped almost instantly after I put the phone down so I called the front desk and said don't worry about it. Again almost instantly after putting the phone down they all started back up again! So another phone call was made and this time the noise carried on so I thought great, someone is actually going to hear this and know that we arent lying or exaggerating but as soon as security got into the hallway to listen, the noise stopped completely.

I watched out of the door peep hole or whatever it's called and could see security standing there waiting and listening but eventually left and after that there was no noise for about an 30 minutes. I made the initial call at around 4:30am and I think security left at 5:00am. So as you can imagine, we were exhausted and cranky!

They did eventually check out I think about 1-2 days before we did and I caught a glimpse of the kid......I thought at first from the screaming etc that he was around 3 years old but this kid looked about 5-6! So I am guessing that he is extremely extremely spoiled, especially because of the way he was whining and the tone of voice used, you know the one they use when they cant get their own way? I know that noise from having 4 younger siblings :lmao:

Costumes for this year....I would love to dress up, I really would but not sure what I would go as. I dont mind not matching with Stef but costumes are expensive enough for the cheap looking ones and very expensive for the good looking ones which is hard to swallow for only wearing once, but we shall see. So far I can't work out what the must have costume will be for this year. Last year (or was it the year before) everyone had to have The Joker from The Dark Knight. What do you think it will be this year?

Wow long update for the whiny kid......sorry!

:laughing:Where do I start without sounding like a moany Brit.....

LOL,This American hates screaming kids too. I always bring ear plugs with me mostly because dh snores half the time but also because doors are always so heavy in hotels and slam close and walls seem so paper thin:confused3 Sucks to be sick on vacation much less having to deal with someone's else screaming kid sorry for that :guilty:

I think you should dress up as Harry Potter:wizard: to celebrate the last movie :upsidedow :rolleyes1

Hmmm wonder how much I'd have to bribe my husband with to draw a lighting bolt on his head? :rotfl: I'm very excited about the last one to come out, although I cried like a baby for the last one :sad1:

Soopafly,
You made me laugh, I honestly feel your pain. Isn't it always the way, finally when you have enough and make the call, silence. And not a toddler to boot, I can't imagine being the parent and stuck with a child like that on vacation, geeze all year.

I have encountered some really, really well behaved kids . And you can see the mom and dad don't put up with any of that crap.

I am trying really hard to convince my dh to dress up next year, we are planning on going down. He is difficult to say the least, I have a bet going on with him right now and if I win he has to. I've been looking on line for inspiration but I am really not creative. You guys could be Kate and William, you've got the accent:lmao:
Have a great weekend!

Haha if I didn't despise Harry Potter and the royal family then those could be an option ;)

Wuss!

Amen to that! No freaking way will I go near that thing!

You'll have to keep the wuss company whilst me and Joe go on

It was horrible, I keep kicking myself for not getting up and moving away from Mr Snotty :(

Citrico's looks like it is a step up from Narcoossee's and we can't wait to give it a try :)

Wedding plans are defo coming along, just booked the flights for Italy and confirmed our photographer. But there's still lots more to do, will defo need a couples massage onces it's over.

Great update.

I would try the Dessert Party as it was a good night, I mean what's not to love you got desserts and the perfect view for Wishes :)

I will get onto Dave about taking some pics of the wristlets, they are so cute :cutie:

We're still thinking about costumes, will keep you posted on the PTR when it starts :)

Maybe earplugs are the way to go for Dave. I can normally tune most annoying noises out, its when Dave starts to get frustrated that it affects me.

Lol, you will never catch Dave in HP clothing. Its hard enough getting him to go see the movies with me

Kate and William is a different costume idea, suit and pretty dress very simple :) What are you thinking for you and your DH?

Haha if I didn't despise Harry Potter and the royal family then those could be an option ;)

:rotfl: knew you would say that!
