Pools open?

Does anyone know anything about pools being open yet? We are scheduled for July 25th.... still planning to go mainly because family that is going with can't plan it next year so going to try and make the best of it... but can't imagine not having pool time in hot july.....

Nothing confirmed but enough people that are closer to operations think the dvc pools will open, not the regular resort ones. So for AKL Kidani would open but not Jambo house

interesting... wonder why? I know everyone really wants/needs pools in hot summer etc. thanks for your insight.

Because they likely legally cannot overly restrict a DVC resource. Hotel side, all bets are off.

I also think a lot of their life guards are college program, and they apparently suspended that.

We have a Kidani reservation for early August and I waitlisted BCV (primarily for SAB). I just cancelled that waitlist last night, didn't want to risk not having access to a pool since I also believe DVC pools have a better chance to open than the resort pools.

That makes sense to me. We are AK-K DVC owners and will be there next month. Fingers crossed that the pool is open. With the prospect of limited hours the pool will be important to our kids.
