Ahhh.. I'm so confused!! Trying to book a home that accepts pets AND fits our needs is making me crazy!!

Needs: pet friendly, pool, 3 BR, reputable owner, clean & fairly close to WDW.
Wants: fenced/private yard, hot tub.

The two best matches (from the response I've received) are:

1) Briargrove - 4 BR (only need 3), huge fenced yard, no hot tub, farther out from WDW, no references on their website - $600 per week
2) Formosa Gardens - 3 BR; smaller fenced yard, hot tub, much closer to WDW, references on their website & from one other Dis'er - $973 per week

$373 is alot of $ difference - is the hot tub & the proximaty to WDW worth it?? UGHHH!!

Has anyone stayed at Briargrove - not sure if i've seen much about this area & not sure how old the houses are.... HELP!

You and I are in the same "Pet Friendly Villa" boat! It is hard to find what you want, we have to have a villa because we have "barkers" and I don't want to disturb anyone else. Good Luck!

Yep mine are too! So Hotels, Condos & Townhouses are out! Plus, one is a 'runner' so a fenced yard would be a real advantage!

have you tried

http:/www.orlandovillaowners.com/

You enter your info and owners e-mail you back directly with availability and price. Not sure, but if they need to fill the time slot, you might hear from some who don't normally accept pets. We only needed a 3 bedroom, but I got a 5 bedroom home for a great price because they had the week open. I've used them 3 times.

Would recommend Indian Creek which is near the Formosa Gardens area at Kissimmee - very close to all the attractions with restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach too.

I'm assuming you've already checked the other pet friendly villas on www.vrbo.com ? They indicate their pet friendly villas w/ little blue paw prints. They have a nice handful to pick from.

this company, Orlando Property Services,
http://www.opsetc.com/index.php has a nice home that is pet friendly and has a fenced yard...it's called the presidential getaway. I ended up reserving somewhere else, but this home looked very nice and Becky was very helpful.

Good luck with your search:) We ended up leaving our little shih tzu home - the flight was going to be just too long..

Sorry for the slight hi-jack;);)

We happily spent an extra few hundred to stay just south of Sherbeth rather than, say, up 27 in Glenbrook, and felt it was worth the money. We usually make two round-trips most days (park/break/park), and that drive starts to get irritating if it is long.

Of course, YMMV.
