Okay so I have come to think of the DIS boards as an extended family so, while what I am about to say is embarassing and perhaps a little bit too much info for some of you .... i really need to put this out there and get some suggetions.
I am a size 26, I am recovering from Thyroid Cancer of which I had surgery this past July and it caused me to spring from and already hefty size of 18 to now a 26!!! as a result of this weight increase i totally notice everything is more of a struggle and Im scared about my trip Im about to take.
I notice that I have a problem with all my pants rubbing the inside of my thighs, and it causes these painful rash type bumps and I dont know how to keep this from happening. I think i read before about like tight knee length spandex or something under my shorts or capris to prevent rubbing but, I am afraid im gonna sweat to death. What to do? What is moleskin for? Or am I even saying it right?
Please, I need help, if someone will reply and not just read and laugh I would truly appreciate it.
Be blessed.

I also had my parathyroid glands nicked and they stopped working properly. I know have hypocalcemia because of it. I don't know if you know this, but I used to be in a group ran by Catherine Bell ( JAG< ARMY WIVES) and she is also a survivor! She does not participate in the group discussion any more due to her hectic schedule, but I do see her periodically at the taping of Army wives
. Back to the topic, Many people also use corn starch to help with chaffing. So I hope that what ever you decide to use it helps you.
