Do you live in an apartment or condo? We have neighbors who left a bag of trash outside their front door for a day before some animal ripped into it and spread old pizza and chicken bones all over the walkway. And.... they left it lying around all weekend before we finally called the apartment office when they opened Monday and reported it. The mess was gone later that day.

Our apartments will charge $10 per bag for removal of trash after the first warning.

I think I'd place the poo right in front of her door so she has to pick it up or step over it to get inside. I can't wait to see how long it takes her to pick it up. YUCK!!!

I'm wondering... maybe they keep this big bag of poo and add to it until it's full, and then get rid of it? Still, if you're sharing a balcony, eeew.

I also wondered if the neighbor thinks the bag is yours, Mono~rail?!?

I would tie it to her door-nob. Then she would have to move it to get in, like others said: if she cannot see a car, maybe she cannot see the poop!

She hasn't been back home since she left and almost hit the car while backing out. To keep things interesting, I'm posting pics of the baggie. You can see how close the baggie is to our front door. Our front door is to the right.

So far we are 28 hours into Poo Watch 2006.

She hasn't been back home since she left and almost hit the car while backing out. To keep things interesting, I'm posting pics of the baggie. You can see how close the baggie is to our front door. Our front door is to the right.

Ok..I love the "wipe your paws" doormat! Just seems so fitting to the situation. I say you put the little green bag right in the middle of that doormat!

We don't have any pets. But as you can see from the pic I posted of their front door - they do. I'm keeping my camera warmed up to snap off a pic of the producer of the contents of the baggie.

Good! I thought the visuals would help.

For now, I'm leaving the baggie alone. I don't want to do anything to make the owners' of the baggie suspicious that it is under surveillance.

Maybe the dog is sick and they are waiting to take the "sample" to the vet.

I would not let my kids trick or treat at that house!


(I have a crazy neighbor and I would hate to admit how much time I spend at my peephole doing surveillance! I have to check the hall every time I want to go out - he went to throw out his trash one morning in the nude! - I had to call security - he wouldn't open his door for them)

I'm shamlessly subscribing to this one but I do have to add a comment. . .

My dog stepped in her own poo the other day (she's blind) and proceed to hop to the door on 3 legs. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

POO WATCH 2006!

So far we are 29 hours into Poo Watch 2006.

There was almost some movement. A young girl parked outside and she came to one of the apartments in our group (2 on top & 2 on bottom). When she came back out to her burgundy SUV, she was carrying a green plastic bag that looked just like the dog log bag! I ran and checked through the peephole, and the bag of poo is still there. It was a false alarm. Poo Watch 2006 is still going strong!

So when my DH ask me what I did today can I say I was on a Poo Watch?

Oh my life seems so sad as I am on a poo watch.


I would deff. after today put it in the middle of the mat with a note saying
To Poo or not to Poo is not the Question, Are you going to throw this away is!
