Polynesian Hot Tub?

No they don't and I've always wondered why.:confused3

They have a jetted area but I don't like the location of it. It's at the end where you come off the slide and it's right next to the lifeguard, not very relaxing.

you can use the one at GF or CR - but yea I know you want to be able to walk back to your room after you are all relaxed - not take the monrail.

wouldn't that be "pool hopping"!
No, you're allowed to use their workout facilities and hot tub. :)

I've never done it, because who wants to ride the monorail all the way around just for that...but, you're in the clear if you want to do it.

Public hot tubs kind of gross me out.

Because the Poly doesn't have their own hot tub and gym you are allowed to go to GF but as others have said. I like the convenience of just being able to walk back to my room if I'm a bit wet rather than have to go on the monorail and make a complete trip around and make all those stops. It's just not worth it to me:scared:

Well don't forget there is a walkway between the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. So if a guest staying at the Polynesian wanted to work out and use the hot tub they can take the Resort Monorail to the Grand Floridian, and when they are done they can walk back to the Polynesian.

When my parents and I stay at the Polynesian in December we do not plan on doing going to the Grand Floridian to use to the hot tub in the health club, what I said earlier would be the best for a Polynesian guest to do that if they wanted to.

I was always under the impression that the "hot tub" mentioned at the GF as being available for Polynesian guests is actually the hot tub inside the Spa, not one that is outdoors near a pool (do they even have one of those?). In fact, I think this is a common misunderstanding, and if there is an outdoor one, it would be pool hopping to use it.

CM's may say you can use the GF "hot tub" but it's the one inside the spa they are referring to, which is of course also available for Poly guests (the gym too).

ANyway, that has always been my impression/interpretation. I think public hot tubs are kinda gross, so never worried about where to find one to use when I stay at the poly.

In my previous reply I meant the hot tub in the Grand Floridian health club and not the one by the swimming pools.

oh, I could see that you did, but wanted to make it clear to anyone else who reads this thread that there are two hot tubs at the GF--one outside at the courtyard pool (a quick google told me that) and one inside the Spa, that you mentioned.

It's the one inside the spa that is available to Poly guests, not the outdoor one near the pool. Also to note, the spa hot tub would not be open 24 hours, it's probably only open the same hours of the Spa. I figured that might be good info for someone who planned to use the spa hot tub after a long day at the parks. I am not sure what time the spa closes, but you should check beforehand.

According to wdwinfo.com, the Spa & Health Club at the Grand Floridian is open from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. So those would be the hours for use of the hot tub located there.
