Polynesian Hawaii Building- Room Opinions?

We are staying CL at Polynesian in a Lagoon View. I know the 3rd floor has balconies but it seems only 2 Lagoon View rooms on that floor. One being next to the stairwell but looks to be a great view. Has anyone been in that room (#3518)? Would anyone suggest requesting a second floor room even though no balcony due to proximity to the lounge? I really don't want a 1st floor room. Just a preference. And I do understand its just a request but figure with a try! Thanks!
