Poly: Rapa Nui vs Tokelau

My family was fortunate enough to stay in the Tokelau longhouse last year and enjoyed it very much, especially how large the room was and its convenience to the T&TC and GCH. I thought we might try Rapa Nui next trip, as Tikiman said the garden view looking towards Tahiti was very nice. Has anyone stayed there and can recommend it, or should we stick with Tokelau again?

We usually request Rapa Nui when we are not staying club level. I like to be able to walk to the TTC and we don't find the walk to the Ceremonial House that bad. In fact I love walking around the Poly, very relaxing. The views are very nice and it tends to be a quiet area, not many people request it as most people like to be close to the monorail and food. We always have a car and there is a nice parking area that we use that is very close. I think either building would be good.

Thanks, I would. Even though that's the side the monorail can be seen from, which would be interesting. But I'd rather have a great garden view; wondering now how I would go about requesting that particular area.

Our first stay at the Poly we were in Rapa Nui. It was a lovely 3rd floor room with a garden view. Getting back to our building was a breeze, especially when using the ferry from the MK or the monorail from Epcot. I would stay there again.

Our only request was a room close to the TTC.

We were very pleased with the room. It had 2 sinks and was one of the larger rooms at that resort. It even felt roomy with 3 adults and 2 kids.

Rapa Nui is extremely quiet. The loudest noises will come from the ferryboat docking at or departing from the TTC.
