Poly or Contemp?

We've narrowed it down to these two...but can't decide. We're torn because of the Polynesian's theme...(used to live in the "real" Samoan islands...so it would be a treat to be in So. Pacific again)...and the Contemp's proximity to MK and "slightly" lower prices...which would you choose? thanks...:

We have stayed at both a number of times. In our personal opinion and experience, we prefer the Poly 100 to 1 over the Contemporary. We like the theme much better, the pool, the grounds, etc. In our experience, we have had much better mousekeeping and friendlier CM's at the Poly than we did at the CR. Every one can have a good/bad experience at any resort, but this was our experiences.

As long as you stay in the Tower I would now choose the CR over Poly. Especially if youw ill be spending a lot of time at MK, being able to walk back at the end of the day is much better than waiting for the crowded monorails.

Depends on what time of year.

We always stayed at the Contemporary Tower (MK view) if we were there for Christmas. (You can't beat the convenience of being able to walk to the MK from the hotel.)

Any other time of year, it's a wash because they are both nice resorts.

I voted for the Contemporary because it's the closest resort to the Magic Kingdom, the only one with a walkway that goes there, all their Cast Members I meet have always been very friendly, their rooms are bigger and you would save some $ since their rooms are less expensive.

POLY POLY POLY POLY POLY!!!

And actually they have some of the largest rooms on property "for regular rooms". Check the resort room info and they will tell you which building those are in.

The CR is nice, dont get me wrong, and it is an experience everyone should have, but the Poly is the winner!
