Last year we stayed in Aotearoa and love the monorail view. This year my friend wants to try a new building, Raratonga, but I wonder if the monorail view is as good as Aotearoa, and is the parking lot an eyesore? Anybody stay in both bldgs. and which has a better monorail view? Is 3rd flr. better than 2nd?

I stayed on the first floor of Raratonga close the the neverland club there were srubs blocking the parking lot. Great view of the monorail .

I never thought about the monorail view from the Poly. We're staying there in Jan. My sons would love to watch it come and go. I may have to look into that. Which "view" gets the monorail view--garden view or lagoon view?

The monorail view is great if not better from Rarotonga in my opinion.

Only some gardenview rooms have monorail views unless you count seeing it across the lagoon.

Besides Aotearoa and Raratonga, Rapa Nui has a view too but the monorail is farther away and across a small parking lot when it goes by Rapa Nui. But for all three of those buildings, only one side faces the monorail.

That is a great point about Rapa Nui. I guess I always focused so much on the parking lot view that I forgot you could see the monorail coming from the TTC. I think I need to add that to the Rapa Nui page. Guess I should get a photo of that.
