Hi...we are planning a May trip to the Poly! DH, myself, and 3 kiddos (ages 7, 5, and 1). We were looking into the Samoa longhouse, but I'm wooried about the smoke smell issue. Has anyone stayed there?? Was it an issue?? Do you think I should request Nuie instead? WE want to be by the volcano pool...my boys love it! The Samoa longhouse should be refurbished and done right before we get there....any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks, Vicki:)

Samoa should be done by April and there are always mixed reports on the smoke in Samoa but every time I have walked through the halls of Samoa it has always had a very strong smell of smoke. This is just my experience.

Thanks, Tikiman...you're the Poly expert! I appreciate your reply. Hmm...I'm NOT a fan of a smoky room. I guess we'll request Niue and see what happens. We really wanted to be close (with a viewof if possible) to that pool. Does anyone else have any thoughts or ideas?
