Poly DVC expansion coming 2024!

A lot of this depends on how they're thinking about the future of resale restrictions more broadly. I think we'll basically have our PVB answer when DLT goes on sale.

And they may want to see how VGF sales go with new buyers.

But, now I am think that the reason they did announce right as those started so it is implied that look at what could be restricted from resale without saying that.…

Ok, I have a couple of kids that I need bigger accommodation (theoretical) so I buy the new Polly building then in 12 years they are grown or don't want to go anymore. So now all I need is a studio and I can go more. If they make it a separate contract that i can only book there I am very unhappy. Don't think people will think of this. What do you think ?

you would only be able to only stay there if YOU bought resale. If you buy direct, as it stands now, you will be able to stay at any of the resort.

Sorry, I have been out the loop for a while. So If I buy a resale anywhere I can only stay at that resort. I own at OKW and the Polly all bought direct. I was thinking of buy a resale at the Polly. Is the points at GF bought non direct only good at GF?

If you buy any resale except Riviera you can stay at any of the current (original 14) properties except Riviera. If you buy Riviera resale you can ONLY stay at Riviera. If you buy Polly resale you can stay at all of the current resorts except Riviera and no other new resort in the future unless they change the rules.

Home resort booking window is not affected.

yep and if you buy the same use year you should be able to combine the points from your other poly contract easily.

Yes, you can at the current villas. What is unknown is whether this new Poly tower will be part of the current association, which means all Poly points bought, direct or resale, get home resort advantage.

However, if they decide to make Poly tower a new DVC, simply located at the Poly resort and put it into its new association, then there is a good chance that any Poly points bought resale today will not go eligible to use there at alll.

And, it’s possible that anyone who buys the points at the new tower on the resale market will be restricted to use them only there like RIV.

Since we don’t know which way DVD will go, I would only buy Poly resale now if you don’t really care about the new tower because there is a chance these points wont be good there.

If you care, or will be upset that you are shut out, I would wait until it is announced as to how it will enter the DVC world.

There is no official word, just lots of speculation.

Really, no one knows for certain at this point. Even if there's a consensus within Disney offices right now, it could change before Poly Tower goes for sale.
