Hi, this is my first post here and I just have a couple questions for you disney experts.
We are staying at Poly Concierge. We have a garden view. Is it really worth the extra money to change it to Lagoon view?
Also, we have never used the Concierge service before, can anyone tell me what kinds of things they have from 5-7?
Thank You

You can find out the daily food offerings at Tikiman's website--I don't know the URL offhand (please don't throw me out of the club!LOL) but you could probably do a search.
I know we are there two nights this summer, and one is kind of a moroccan night--that's the night we are doing OHana.
As for the view, we have done GV concierge twice and really enjoyed it, but we are trying LV this time because one night is my BDay. But we are planning on spending a lot of those two days at the hotel--so we can get the most of the view and everything else.

Monday Asian: Sushi, noodles, shrimp, fruit salsa, and eggrolls.

Tuesday Luau: Sesame chicken pasta with sweet garlic soy, tropical fruits, noodles, and cheese platter.

Wednesday 'Ohana: Vegetable springrolls with sweet chili sauce, apple pasta salad, and tropical fruit.

Thursday Kona: Sticky chicken wings, chicken fajitas with char sui sauce, potato and macaroni salad, and tropical fruits.

Friday Italian: Lasagna, meatballs in sauce, antipasto salad, pasta, and tropical fruits.

Saturday Moroccan: Cous Cous with vegetables, spicy bean dip, pita bread, cucumber and tomato salad, and tropical fruits.

Thanks for the responses.
Tikiman, I see you LOVE Polynesian. It looks wonderful and now I'm happier then ever we booked there! Thank you so much for all the wonderful info.

You will have the BEST time at Poly Concierge!!!! I didn't think that Lagoon View was worth the extra money -- mainly because we spent hardly any time in our room. If you think you'd like to spend a few hours each day relaxing on your balcony, then it's probably worth it. We left the building in the dark each am and came back in the dark each pm.

I think it is worth the extra $$ if you have an unobstructed view of the castle. I was very "green" on our first stay and we had a very obstructed view of the castle (palm trees, etc in our way.) We had to walk out from our porch and down a few rooms to see the castle. For our money we would have been better off on the garden side. Concierge is definitely worth the money. We tried to change rooms once there but things were booked. They could have switched us our last night but we decided that would be too much trouble for us to pack everything up. I'm not sure if they can give you a definite answer as to what your view will be. I would inquire w/the concierge staff well in advance about your room choice. Wish I would have received that advice myself on our first stay.

We just returned from Poly Concierge LV room.
The menu has changed a bit.
Saturday night was grilled chicken ceasar salad and grilled veggies.
Monday was sushi, but no noodles or shrimp.
Wednesday was O'Hana spring rolls and won tons.
I don't know what they had the other nights because we were
out doing other stuff!

I think the GV rooms in the concierge building are very nice. :)
