Never quite sure where to put myself on these polls.

I always see Doctor and Lawyer...but Indian Chief is NEVER listed pirate: :earboy2:

What if you have more than one??

I sold Ice Cream to the Eskimo's for awhile.

Then I went on to apprentice at Tooter's :teeth:

I wish I could have selected Other considering how it was defined :)

SCHWEET!!! and obviously enjoying it! Even better! :goodvibes

Hmmm…. What to choose? :confused3

Unskilled labor: Got to admit I can’t consider scrubbing bathrooms/floors etc. as skilled labor (now laundry requires some skill) ;)

Skilled laborer : I can change a REALLY MESSY diaper one handed while keeping DS from crawling off with a bare bottom :earseek:

Education: Everything DS and DD know they learned from me (except the bad stuff, that was ALL Daddy!)

Professional: Family financial planner, top-notch arbitrator "who had it first?", front line emergency medical care. Apparently my kisses magically make boo-boos all better . :wizard:

Public Safety: Chief crossing guard (hold Mommy’s hand!) and constantly on the lookout for anyone “off” hanging around the playground. In my luggage-size purse I always carry a first-aid kit, haven’t had to be a firefighter yet, but occasionally we know dinner is done because the smoke alarm goes off! :firefight

Office worker: In charge of mail, filing, in charge of all family correspondence. Got to admit I would fire me for the job I do with the filing, it's not my thing. :teeth:

Technology: Family computer trouble shooter (this includes long-distance phone calls from grandparents who can’t figure out why their printer won’t work, etc. :badpc:

Entertainment: The Wiggles have nothing on me (except talent)! I sing (badly), I dance (embarrassingly) and tell endless knock-knock jokes. Lucky me, my audience loves my work!

In other words: I'm a mom. I guess I could have picked Other, but the wealthy part threw me. I couldn't pick self-employed since I have 2 rather demanding "bosses", and Unemployed is DEFINITELY not the right description  :rotfl2:

momalix - boy you could also add comedy and writing!!!

that is the best description of a mother's job I have ever seem.

momalix - I second what spiceycat said!! Thanks for the laugh!

I checked Other because it's what I aspire to be.

I added my two cents to the pole, but I aspire to be retired!

:cool1:

Well this is me too!! Since there was no option for CFO.. Chief Family Officier I just went and choose the option that hubby fit under.

I like what I do for employment,
The financial world's my profession.
But that's not my biggest enjoyment,
Walt Disney World is my obession!

I checked other (no I'm not fabulously wealthy). I was very surprised not to find the choice of homemaker but, as I continued to read the posts I was happy to see that mom2alix listed my job description perfectly. It's a job I've held for 17 years and a profession I'm glad I chose. Although my salary could've been a little higher, the rewards have made up for it! :flower:

Awesome, you got my stay at home wife to smile today.

RayJay

I picked unemployed but agree with mom2alix and the other homemakers and stay at home moms.

Perhaps my job dealing with the sc.. of the earth is the reason I love WDW so much. Step in the gates and your in a magical world leaving the real world behind. Of course the smile on the kids faces may have something to do with it. :confused3
