I'm really surprised at how many women think that it's ok for their church to not allow women in leadership roles. It saddens me. Isn't that akin to saying that you're not as good as a man?

I can feel myself getting flamed on this already, but before you flame me, answer the question.

As a Catholic, I am bothered by not having women priests. When I married a non-Catholic, we looked around and considered joining another denomination. I was too attached to Catholicism, and stayed. When someone asks my son if he wants to be a priest, i tell them they can have my son when they are also willing to take my daughters. I am comforted by knowing that there are a lot of priests who also believe the church should change, and that change comes slowly in an institution such as this, but I do believe change will come.

Born and raised Roman Catholic and accept the teachings of the Church. I do hope and pray for the day however when the College of Cardinals see the need for Women as Priests and for allowing Priests to be married.

Episcopalian- I love it that women can become priests and bishops!
My priest came here from another state, (Rhode Island) and there the bishop was a woman.

I couldn't belong to a faith where women weren't allowed in certain positions. I'm way too much of a liberal/feminist for that!
