TP often recommends Despicable Me at RD. We did that last year, and it worked really well.

That's how we did Despicable Me as well. First ride when we went into the park, didn't have to wait long at all.

Fun ride too.

I put in the next few months and other. I think it's unfortunately going to be the limited attraction option:( I didn't want to jinx it by actually choosing it in the survey. I think it will take them a month to figure out how to charge us for it. I am a cynical optimist though; I hope for the best but expect the worst:) I think a lot of people are in de Nile :rotfl2: that Disney would actually implement this. I think they will. It fits perfectly with magic bands and charging on the bands. Heck, they could even just charge per ride. Scan your band, pay your fee, get on the ride:sad2:

Man when you described it all I keep thinking of is the Ticket books WDW had back in the 70's. I remember those days and I don't know if Disney would go back to that.

That is sort of how it has been described according to rumors. However, the thought is that you would by a certain number of attractions as opposed to individual ones. Supposedly, this was supposed to roll out with MyMagic+, MDE, and Magic Bands. I seriously think they are considering this. They need to reduce crowds generate more revenue without angering people by overtly and excessively raising prices.

Anything's possible so it could. That was the way of the books you had a handful of attractions at first if you wanted to ride more you had purchase more tickets.

This would literally ruin Disney for me. I know that sounds dramatic, but if I am working my tail off just to get IN to the parks... if I want to ride Space Mountain 17 times I should be able to do so. Granted that's harder with FP+ but still. When they actually limit what I can do unless I fork over more, we are out. We purchased our package for December last year. I just couldn't imagine them telling me well sorry, if you want to do everything without limits that will be X more... oh the poor customer service rep who would have to take those calls!

This is exactly how I feel. We have to save up and work hard to get into the parks, and we go every other year (we go back and forth between coasts). When I say we won't be able to do Disney anymore, it's not out of a hissy fit or me stomping off with my money to put it somewhere else (like Universal) in protest just because I don't like the new rules. I say it because we really couldn't afford something like this, period. Which makes me sad.

We're planning our next trip for Sept 2017 and I was wanting to buy tickets before the increase, but all of this tier stuff is concerning! What if the changes ARE bigger than I am anticipating (I voted an increase in the coming months and a switch to a tier system). What if I'm wrong and it's the stupid book thing? Paying for individual attractions would mean we simply couldn't go anymore. And Disney is now a tradition in my kids' lives. I hate that thought. Paying for certain rides and only having a certain amount of rides to enjoy before you have to fork over more dough makes it sound like a traveling carnival, not a Disney park!

Ugh. Reading these rumor threads always get me all worried :sad2:
