Poll-do you prefer condo-style or hotel-style units?

I vote for hotel-style. To me, one of the best things about a WDW/DVC vacation is not needing a car.

but that really isn't my best answer. In May we like to stay at OKW because we do a lot of off property activities and love to park right outside our door, ( never had a problem finding a spot within a door or two). During Oct/Nov and Dec we stay at BCV and VWL and spend most time on-property and don't drive that much. So, I have preferences depending on trip plans.

My Husband and I have been to DW three times. In those 3 trips we unfortunately stayed off site the first time to try and save money.....(we'll never do that again!)
Second, we stayed at OKW and loved it.
Thrid, OKW again!
We had family stay at BWV and got to experience what that was like for one night. The rooms were nice, not quite as big as OKW, but we didn't care for the long hallway trek in order to get to your room. Especially when you've been out all day and your legs are going to fall off. We didn't enjoy the walk back.

However, when we stayed at OKW, we requested a room near the bus site pick-up/drop-off and we enjoyed that much better. It just felt more like a home, more private, and a little bigger.

I guess whatever floats your boat! When it involves Disney World you can never go wrong!

I am in the minority!! I am definetly a "Hotel style-Valet parking, room service ammenities" kinda girl! I love to be waited on, and valet parking and bell services are important to me. I even try to stay at full service hotels with interior coridors when I am not at Disney. DH has a bad back and will unload the car if there is not a bellman

SCDizneyDawn.... I am with you all the way! I also like that I can walk to a resturant under cover if need be. Last trip it was raining and we were able to walk from our room over to Yachtsman Steakhouse without having to get wet!
