Poll: Best Themed Resort

Love all the deluxe resorts, but our favorites are BC & GF . I understand why AK received most of the votes , and we loved it when we stayed there but it's just too far from everything. It's great that you have so many choices and that there is something for everyone!

I would probably say that the AKL/WL have the best themes in terms of most immersive and authentic and transporting.

The Poly definitely has an immersive theme, but the theme is more the 1970's version of Hawaii than anything else. More kitschy Brady Bunch goes to Hawaii than Aulani.

The CR is also dated, themewise, but I think that works with the whole "THE FUTURE IS NOW" theme of the hotel better than the Poly.

The values have great theming on the outside, but with the exception of AOA, they are fairly bland in the rooms.

BC/YC/BWI all have nice understated themes that are true to the spirit of the Northeastern beach resorts that inspired them.

GF tries a little too hard in my opinion and more closely captures late '80s than anything else.

The moderates are all pretty great themewise and well designed.

I'd have to say Poly is the best themed. Love the tropical feel, beautiful lush landscaping and the tiki torches at night.
Also love POR, beautiful grounds, mansion section is my fav.
Also WL & AKL are wonderfully themed too!

Yea POR is one I don't usually think about but it is very well done. And I agree with you about the POLY. If I was picking best themed at night, the Poly has it in the bag with those torches. I love strolling around there at night

Value- we always loved ASMu but now that AOA is open I'd say for theme it's the best but also most expensive value! I'd say with a first timer or children its perfect tho!

Moderate- stayed in on,y 2 of the 4 mods but visited all of them to eat & POR for a family is the best themed for a couple the small cozyness of POFQ plus both have the boat to DTD! We hated CRB the tropical theme is nice but the resort itself is way spread out, so much you need to take internal bus to get to main pool/food court. We ate at CSR & just really didn't care for the theming or food.

Deluxe- our 2 favorites are Poly for the relaxing ambiance & fantastic views of 7 seas lagoon, MK & the other monorail,resorts, plus the convenience of the monorail. Second favorite is GF for the beauty of the resort, the beauty of the room & the impeccable service. Convenience of the monorail is just a great plus here, it literally took us 5 min to get on monorail & walk into MK it was amazing!!

We stayed at CR as well & loved the rooms, thr bathroom with its square sinks & contemporary look & feel of the room was great but the rest of the resort felt like it was an airport! Lol. BC we were so disappointed in we stayed CL but service was a joke & the carpets were faded & stained, furniture in our room was worn and paint chipping. We won't be back!

AKL- theming was great! Watching animals was fun but the resort itselfs layout can be confusing when your trying to find Mara! Lol. Our mistake was staying here during a split stay AFTER Poly I think if we had done AKL first we would have appreciated it more..

This Sept we will be at BWI for first time so we will see where we rate it!

The one and only completely themed POLYNESIAN RESORT. OK a Tiki gawd made me post this now hand me my pineapple with that paper umbreller own it.
