Point and shoot recommendations

I'm looking for your help. I'd like to buy a great point and shoot camera that I can carry in my pocket throughout the trip. I have been leaning toward the Canon PowerShot SD880IS or the Canon PowerShot SX110IS. I would love to hear about your favorite so I can make my decision.

The only one I can tell you about is the Sx110. Its a great camera but its not very compact. Its not huge by any means but if you are looking for something to stick in a pocket you may want to check it out first.

I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ 3 for the past 2 years which I love, and carrying it in my purse just saved me when I was taking pics this past weekend and my Canon 40D gave me an Error 99 and died.

I purchased it specifically because of all the good reviews, and it's one of the only 10x zoom around.
