Hello all,

We will ba staying at POFQ. In our previous trip (the last one being in 2002 at CBR), we used to take a bus to the TTC and then the monorail or ferry to MK. Is that possible from POFQ?

If not, any suggestions how we can at least take the monorail once during our trip?

Thanks,

There are no buses from any resort to the TTC. If you really want to ride the monorail, you can take the bus to MK and take a trip on the resorts monorail.

If I take a bus to Epcot and take the monorail from there, can I transfer at the TTC to go to MK?

You can, assuming you aren't hoping to get there for rope drop. Plan on it taking about 90 minutes (including wait times.)

Absolutely!! Very easy to do. You can transfer to either the Resort line, which will stop at the Polynesian, GF and then MK, then go on to the CR and back to TTC, or the Express line which will take you directly to MK, with no stops.

What's a rope drop?

Hopefully they're not hanging anyone ;)

Park opening. There's a little show, but the real draw is the fact that wait times are much, much, much shorter for the first few hours that the park is open.

Your other option is to plan a lunch or dinner at one of the monorail resorts on your Magic Kingdom days. We always dine at one of the monorail resorts since the MK is a dry park and we enjoy a cocktail with dinner. :drinking1
