Happy Tuesday, fellow cruisers! After over a week of pleasant weather, its going back up into the upper 80's today. Guess mother nature is saying "You need to go back down to Florida". Yeah that's it. I guess I will make the sacrifice and take a trip to take the heat to Florida for the fall...

Good morning podcast cruisers!

Word from Anna's school teachers is looking good. We have a couple more questions to ask, but they appear to be okay with us pulling Anna out of school for the Podcast Cruise. So, as soon as we get our questions cleared up I'll be paying our balance in full (probably Thursday) and we'll be all set. Words can't express how happy I am that Kim and Anna will be on the cruise with me. What looked like an improbablity last Spring/Summer has turned into somewhat of a miracle this Summer/Fall. It's made a BIG difference in how I feel about this trip. I love all of my friends, but having family next to my side during a trip like this makes is so, so special.

Anyone know anything about Vero Beach DVC?

We're killing a couple nights there this weekend.

Anyone need DVC accomodations before the end of Oct? We have some "leftover" points to spend..... yeah, long story of why they didn't get banked.....

Tonight I am reading "Forest of Hands and Teeth"', a young adult zombie novel.

Is it any good? I need a book for December, one that I can read for about 4 hours on the flight and then read bits here and there while we're at WDW. Is it scary?

Good book, but I have read better. Some scary bits. It is more a teen sort of love story, small group of teens all alone in the world, happens to be zombies around. The interesting thing about the book is that the zombies are not new. These teens are seven generations since the "infection" created zombies. No explanation about where the infection that created the zombies came from, it is so far back in history, it does not matter to the story.

If you can get a cheap copy, or borrow from library, it is worth a read. But I would not buy it to possess it.

Relationships are work - sometimes too much work and even tho you know it's the right thing to do, it still hurts to split. I used to make things bigger than they were, but I'm getting better at it since I've adopted DH's mantra on most issues at hand: don't worry about the small potatoes...and they're ALL small potatoes! You know what's best for you - good luck!

Aaron, this is great news! So happy to hear that Anna's teachers are cooperating!! Anna is such a doll, I told her at Brandie's house in Indy that my daughter is the same age as her and they could hang out on the cruise.

That would be a good thing Andrea. Not sure how many girls their age will be on the cruise. Having girls the same age to hang out with is important. I know Anna will appreciate having a friend to hang out with especially in the Oceaneer Lab.

Most excellent news on Kim and Anna joining our adventures, Aaron!!

Catching up on last night's DWTS. I saw the last three dancers so I need to see the rest of them. I wasn't really looking forward to this season's cast, but I'll watch anyway. I love Jennifer Grey...she's my choice right now.

My sister came over yesterday and hung out for awhile. We went to lunch...the mall...then dinner and a movie. Went and saw The Switch with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. Very cute movie...predictable, but cute. I've got a few movies coming up that I can't wait to see.
