HI Everyone, hope the weekend is going well for you all. July is gone, and it's only a little over 4 months for PCC 2.0. Can't wait to meet everyone.

4 months doesn't sound too long :goodvibes Will soon be time to start packing

Jen,

What have you done to my DH?????? (In a GOOD way! ;) ) He came home the other day and asked if I'd seen the new D&B Princess collection. :rotfl:

Like Katherine, I already have my eyes set on another D&B bag ...

:goodvibes Jennifer

He sounds like he's well trained to me :thumbsup2 DH spotted these too, I think I still like the sketch design with the pink or purple background - I'll have to decide when I see them in person.

Happy August!

I am looking forward to a good week - my sister is on vacation this week, we are hoping for a beach day before I go back towork on Thursday.

Anyone else got the holiday on Monday? Beside you Katherine & John...I know you get it... ;)

No normal day at work for us but we do get a day off at the end of August - 30th this year :thumbsup2

Morn all - hope everyone had a great weekend. Welcome to a new week. Hope it's a good one for everyone.

It's going to be HOT here. This week might be one of the hottest Louisville has had in awhile. That's saying alot since July was the 5th hottest month on record.

Woohoo - just hit 400 posts. Guess I need to get on here more. Stupid work always gets in the way...

As Kathy stated, our brief cool down is over. The heat wave has returned.

Last summer we had the coolest July on record, this year one of the hottest on record.

Woohoo - just hit 400 posts. Guess I need to get on here more. Stupid work always gets in the way...

Congrats on hitting 400 posts Kathy!!

On the cruise...pool time, new CC, Disney guest sessions & martini tasting! :dance3:

In early spring, we bought some bricks to bury underneath the shed's front face - an entry point for critters last year. Well, DH still hadn't buried the bricks and this weekend something moved in :sad2: I was setting the trap last nite :tiptoe: and gave myself a mighty three-pronged, 2" gash on my leg :sad1: I'm hoping it doesn't get infected, will heal in time for me to do the Hersey 'waterpark', and will scab over so I can resume my house painting! :rotfl2:

Make it a fab week all! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

Happy Monday!!! Had a blast dong the Muddy Buddy in Chicago-land with Jason. The course was a ton more difficult than the Orlando course, but I think it had something to do with the biblical rains. Lots of steep hills, bogs, swamp, straw, mud, and horse poop. And then there was the 200 yards of water/mud to carry the bike through. Had a great time. Great experience, not one I'm likely to redo though.

What are you looking forward to? :)

Candlelight Processional
Seeing the aquarium at Atlantis
Castaway 5K
Pirates in the Caribbean Party
And spending time with some great old friends, and some great new ones too.

Hi all! I spent my holiday Monday doing housework. DH got up and started working outside first thing so I did sleep in a bit. :goodvibes

I'm an enabler, what can I say...:confused3

I have been looking so much now DD wants to buy a wristlet on the cruise...:sad2:

Good Morning Everyone

What are you looking forward to? :)

I am looking forward to my first trip home, Christmas at WDW (having missed the December events); seeing friends who 'get it'; having DH be more social, special guests on the cruise, Christmas shopping in the World...I know I am forgetting some things...

Get healthy!!!!!

I finally saw Toy Story 3. Two big thumbs up!

The theater is Pittsfield is an old style Main Street theater that seats 300 people. That is large by today's standards of multi-plexes with many small theaters.

Monday is dollar night, so the theater was 90% full. It was great to watch the film with so many people reacting appropriately in all the right places.

However, I kept saying to myself, is this when I am supossed to cry? Do I need the tissue yet? I never did. The school librarian and I agreed that it takes a little more to make us cry.

However, one of my library patrons was touched by it because she is sending a child off to college this month.

(I am not totally cold hearted. I did shed a tear during Up.
I guess I react more to people dying than going off to college. Could be that I have no children and I have had people die recently. And I am closer to dying age than college age!)

I found the bit near the end when they were in peril the saddest bit :sad1:

Karen, hope things heal ok and that to catch your new guest! Sounds like you've been having fun

I'm most looking forward to seeing Jodi Benson, being on the Wonder, trying a few new places to eat, trying the QS dining plan and most importantly seeing friends old and new :cloud9: and everything else

Morning! Happy Tuesday!
The heat is supposed to return today - guess that means I will need to turn the AC back on.

Hope everyone has a great day.
