I find this thread so amusing, I may as well try to jump in too Sadly the site is blocked at work so I'll jump in after 5pm! Hope everyone had a good day...

Thanks to you all! Yesterday was very emotional. My dear friend went into the hospital for an asthma treatment last week, they were prepared to release her when she lost consciousness and died. I'm sure they have figured out now what happened to her but yesterday wasn't the day for asking questions and up until then, they really didn't know. Stress usually ends in a migraine for me but thankfully it didn't last night however it was an emotionally exhausting day. I just didn't think I could handle the quickness of chat! I did go through the boards though and you guys always make me feel better, no matter what. It is just like having a big, extended family whenever you need then but without the guilt and headache!

I'm sure many companies have this, but you dont work for an insurance company, do you?

After getting out of my Diversity Training this morning (unfortunately I only delayed it until next month ) due to a Rush Printing Job and an uncooperative Printer. I had a good day. Managed to get a short walk in, in between raindrops at lunch. Got home just ahead of the Storms Kathy (KyMickeyFan) mentioned. Sounds like we will have a calm weekend of weather.

I had a Sinus Pressure Headache last night ahead of the storms moving in, that caused me to go to bed early, instead of going to Chat. Then the weather alarm went off around Midnight for the Tornado Watch, then the storms moved in around 3 a.m. and I never really got back to sleep..Then the alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. time to get up to go to work..

Kathy, I understand about your Dog, my parents have 2 70+lb dogs that insist on sleeping with you or cuddling very close to you when it is storming.

Hope you get more sleep tonight!

My dogs can't be bothered to get out of bed, unless you are knocking on the door. They give me grief when the alarm goes off and bury themselves back under the covers until their other daddy gets up.

Do they like to burrow? Dachshunds are soo cute when they burrow!

Newbie alert! I just thought I'd jump in here and say hi and introduce myself. I'm hoping to get to know my fellow cruisers before the big event. I've been a member on the boards for a while, but mostly lurk. I am a little timid, I guess. So, I'm trying to work on that. I've been listening to the podcast for a little over a year now, and I think it is just great!

I'm a single mom of two sons, and they love Disney almost as much as I do. We didn't go on our first trip until 2004, but we've been hooked ever since.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all in a little over 500 days. And, I look forward to getting to know you in the meantime.

The company I work for recovers metals from various sources, we had some of this lying around (when we tried to process it on a large scale it caused quite a big fire ) now they are trying to sell it on without processing it and we need it in solution to do trace analysis - you have to get rid of as much organic material as possible before dissolution

I'm not a chemist either! Much prefere biology Don't quite know how I ended up working in ths area but it pays the bills and I wish my glasses were a bit cooler, I have wear prescription safety glasses - very fashionable I don't think

Yeah so I've gone a bit quiet lately. Blasted PC is a real headache at the moment (shuts down from overheat or short circuit). Hopefully I'll have it sorted this weekend and will be able to keep up with this thread!!!
