So I've heard many great things about the Palo brunch. Has anyone experienced it? Do you plan on doing it this cruise? How early can you make a reservation?

I am really thinking hard about Palo Brunch...I've heard so many great things about it. Have to talk DD into it though.

Is there an age limit to the Palo brunch?

It's adults only...but you could have Disney watch the baby for a bit???? Maybe we could have lunch at the same time.....just a thought.

I am good with Disney watching the baby. I tried for a Palo brunch on my first cruise and it didn't work out. I am hoping since this one is longer that I can get one.

No need to talk anyone into it ... just book it. You will get a confirmation in your stateroom ... act surprised ... then say, "Oh, Honey, we're going to Palo's for brunch! Thank you sooo much!" :confused3

Here are some photos from our last Brunch on the Magic.

Jeff,

Not quite -

1st time cruisers can book at 74 days out
Silver at 90 days out
Gold 105 days out
Platinum 120 days out (they get Palo free!)

We've done Palo dinner 3 times & brunch once. Both were great! I think I enjoyed dinner more, but am very glad we did brunch & would do it again :)

Thanks for the correction! I just made Gold earlier this month, so I have a ways to go before getting Platinum.

That's the question I'm tossing around now. Do we try to do the brunch, dinner, or both.

Both! Seriously, they are two very different dining experiences. Outstanding food and service at each, just different.

signed up for 4.0 months ago, but we weren't sure if we could go..... now i think it's almost for sure :) so joining the conversation! We were on 2.0, hoping for better weather this time around!

Howdy! I returned home this morning from a great week at WDW. It was the warmest January in the 5 times I've gone at that time of year. :)

I enjoyed Palo brunch on 2 Wonder cruises and dinner on the Dream. I may book both brunch and dinner on the Fantasy, but I'm not interested in afternoon tea or dinner at Remy.

I got wind of the 2013 DCL itineraries on Tuesday via e-mails from several travel agents. There is nothing in the current crop that interests me, but I'm holding out for a September 2013 Vancouver to Honolulu one-way cruise that hasn't been announced yet. The Panama Canal itineraries are pretty boring, and the eastbound Transatlantic has THE worst itinerary of any DCL has ever had. What's up with this "dumbing down" business?! Obviously DCL wants people to stay onboard with lots of sea days so they spend more money.

We went to Animal Kingdom for a few hours on Thursday and I thought it was chilly! :cold:

I think the 2013 Wonder-Magic itineraries are AWFUL & LACKLUSTER!!!

We mostly agree. However, we did book the west coast repositioning cruise for May 2013 from LA to Vancouver. Pretty good price for a 7-night in a balcony cabin. Looking forward to a couple of days in SF on this cruise.

We booked the same cruise!

That day the WDW area was supposed to have a record high of 84. I started out at AK, then went to the Studios for awhile, and ended in Epcot. :) I was chilly when the sun went down Wednesday night, but I never needed my jacket Thursday. Compared to previous Januaries - this year was very warm.

I mostly agree, although I think DCL's 12-night Med itineraries are pretty good. However, my DH and I are on a Celebrity Italy and Croatia cruise out of Venice this May, so I don't need to repeat those ports on DCL in 2013. I'd like to go to Greece and Turkey, but not in the summer.

Hi Gang

Long time no talk - In November I was given notice I was to be laid off January 2. It happened. And tomorrow - I believe my odyssey will come to an end and get a job offer!

So - while Disney would have been a nice diversion - my job was to find a job and I had no interest thinking of this cruise if it was not to occur. But with the new job, all should be back to planning mode. I guess we are still far enough out, no real news has occurred and we are all good still!

Glad to be back among the living and dreaming...
