Yeah same deck, but not close...you are up toward the forward and we are all the way in the aft...as far back as you can get..... Not sure how I feel about that yet, but it could be cool I guess...what is good about it is, when we pull into Castaway Cay the ship goes in backwards...so we will be able to sit on the verandah and watch it. Last year, we stood on one of the decks with our coffee and watched.

I often like the view from the back of ships. I find that watching the wake made by the ship is very soothing.

Last cruise I booked an interior stateroom because I wasn't sure how I would handle it. This time, my DD insisted on having a varandah...so we are.

Our first cruise was a portal view and the second had a verandah. I don't think I would do another cruise without a verandah. I'm too spoiled now.

That post has had a lot of people on this thread up in arms: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2789412. Apparently DCL both confirmed the change in alcohol policy today, and then retracted their decision at noon!

We are leaving for our 7-night cruise on the Magic in exactly 30 days, so we are very excited!!!!

Good Morning Everyone !!!! Well, today is my last day of work before leaving for Orlando....today is going to be a LONG day.....what makes it worst, is I don't have anything to do....and I mean NOTHING !!! My work is done and my desk is cleaned up. No mail to go through, no filing.....been asking others if they need help and if I get anything at all, it's something that only takes a few minutes....so, I guess I'll be on the boards for most of the day.

As I watched the first few minutes of Good Morning America, I saw that Hurricane Lee will be in the gulf while we are in Disney....rain predicted every day....oh well...that's what they make rain ponchos for

I'll try to pop in tomorrow, if not...catch you all after I get back.

Indeed, in fact, that's something I told one of my co-workers this morning....the rain "should" keep the locals away....so we'll see. Either way, I'll be in my happy place and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.
