pixiedust: So her BF doesn't want her to have a car until he passes his driving test? What a loser - she should drop the BF and pick up the car! :rotfl:

cheers,
:flower3:

I know what's up with that? He was being really picky when looking at the car too - it's about 12-13 years old, less than 90,000 miles. Got tax until Sept. and MOT due mid August. It'll last her another 2 years without costing a fortune as I have already paid that on the bloody thing :sad2: And Gav's collegue even said they had seen other cars for twice as much in a worse state. This little boy (who works in a tyre place so apparently 'knows' cars) is on some sort of power trip :confused3 apparently the girlfriend is not talking to her Mum and Dad now, she's almost not talking to her uncle - it's flipping stupid! I can see her getting pregnant by this lad and then being left with the baby, no man and no car :sad2:

Hey everyone!

Ketchup and mayo mixed together = Emma's special dip. She requests it when eating fish sticks.

Wow, actual cruise talk. Makes me all giddy!

Speaking of air travel. I jokingly mentioned to Chris about taking the baby and flying down and he and the big kids can drive in December. He actually likes that idea. Hmmmm..... :scratchin

Would you like me to send you some authentic American ketchup/mayo dip to save you having two bottles ;)

I know, I thought we did well with 25 days each a year  (and I've only just got 25 days, I had to work for 3 years to build those up!)

I get 3 weeks for now, goes to 4 weeks at 5 years and then one week each year until we get to 7 weeks then we are maxed so I guess it isn't so bad.

That would be great for you and the baby to be able to fly, you could take ME to the resort so no problem there... Do it I say, not that it matters what I say haha

We planned on leaving after dinner and baths Thursday night, and drive through the night and let them sleep on the way. They do really well in the car, but I know it's harder for Evan since he can't really adjust himself in his seat like the big kids can.

If I flew with Evan, we would plan to arrive around the same time as they did driving, so no extra park time.

I like to dip my French fries in ketchup.

According to the rules to eating healthy, ketchup is usually too high in sugar and calories. Mustard is recommended over ketchup or mayonnaise as it is lower in calories.

So I have started using a mix of ketchup and mustard. I might like the mix in the tube!

Check the grocery - Heinz makes a low-sugar ketchup. I've been using it for quite awhile - it's very good.

That's my favorite for fries!! Weird I know...

We're still trying to figure out what we can do and what we won't be able to do. We're definitely planning on the cruise of course...but we're still kind of stuck on what pre and post cruise plans will be. I'm currently hopeful for other employment opportunities. Retail is not so forgiving when wanting to take time off in December...I'm happy with the job itself, but the pay and hours aren't so great and it's frustrating. Unfortunately DATW will fall on the Friday before Christmas and no one gets that weekend off at our store...so we'll see...

The plan right now...is to drive down and arrive on the 10th and probably stay at the Swan (or Dolphin if the Swan isn't available) for 2 nights. We're going to hit Universal for WWoHP on the 11th and then the Boardwalk meet that night. Post cruise...we're hoping to return to the Swan and then do MVMCP and then DATW. We'll drive home on the 18th. At least that's the plan...we'll see what actually happens...

Sounds like a good plan to me. Hope it works out.

I can't believe you are bale to get out of your retail store at all in December! How do you manage? What store is it?

Excitement prevails -

the Big Brown Truck of Joy

has just delivered a big box from Oriental Trading Co ( the 1st of many, I'm sure) :yay::yay:

Unfortunately, the contents are a secret - F.E. goodies & door decorations :rolleyes1

I have a vacation question....

Our post cruise stay is split during the 'peak' and 'non-peak' season with regards to the dining plan.

Would the entire post cruise stay be at peak price? Or entire at non-peak? Or split?

I put in a 6 night stay starting 12/19/10 and it charged $41.99 per night for the dining plan. I changed the dates to start on 12/22/10 and it charged $46.99 per night.

So it's what I thought, you pay based on the date you start for the dining plan.

This is so James, although we NORMALLY vacation the first week of December. He will be on the first plane back to Iowa after the cruise. He did tell me the other day that it's really hard to tell me no, and he is really close to telling his boss he is staying. But, probably not in his best interest, so I'll quit. And, unfortunately, he won't have a different job anytime soon. His job is great 99% of the time, except when it comes to holidays.
