So I am trying to plan ADRs and parks. Right now I have 1 table service scheduled each day except for Monday, 12/20. We plan on being in the MK that day. Since none of the table service restaurants interest me except CRT for breakfast (and we aren't doing that this trip), I thinking the Poly for either breakfast or dinner.

Opinions? popcorn::

Are you using the Dining Plan or out of pocket?

Hi Karen. Some would say like lightening. But that might be an 80 yr old. :rotfl:

Great news Andrea. $95 is decent. Ours was $154 and while higher than we are accustomed to, it was acceptable. We are just hoping for a credit.

Our flight back on the 21st is 7:20 as well. :)

I guess my rate was pretty good, then. I hope you are able to get a credit as well. Is Southwest like Jetblue as they will give you a credit on your account and you have a certain amount of time to use the credit to apply to another flight?

He is a WDW lover, he'll never admit to it - although I secretly know that he is :ssst:

Good morning fellow cruisers! I have a door decoration question. How magnetic are the doors? Trying to plan how many magnets to attach to my things. Are they like a fridge can I use that as my template? I made some magnets for my door at POP this last trip and they did not want to stick, the door was not very magnetic. Thanks!

Undecided.

Yes, your fridge would be a good template. They are metal doors.

I tested my magnets on the fridge before packing them and whatever held on the fridge, held on the stateroom door. I had back-up magnet tape, but didn't use it.

Sounds like a good plan. Close to the park, far better food than any TS in MK (IMO). All depends on what time you plan on spending in the park. Hours are 9-10, with an EM of 1am. I would guess you're not going to stay out that late with the kids.

Thanks. Since we are at BLT, the monorail will be so wonderful to get back and forth with. Staying up later with the kids isn't a big deal. They will crash once their heads hit the pillow.

Now, breakfast or dinner at Kona, or dinner at Ohana? None of them have eaten there before.

You could have an early dinner there as it tends to get crazy later on, and then go back into the MK or you could have an early breakfast and go straight over to the MK at opening... I guess I am no help here :confused3

We've done 'Ohana for breakfast and dinner, several times, the last being during DAP, and we've never had a bad experience.

:rotfl: Glad you know how I feel. :rotfl:

Yes. Sounds like they have the same type of system. I canceled my flights for my May trip (since I was in the hospital) and used the credits to book my trip in October, and still had some extra to spare for another trip.:thumbsup2 I check everyday to see if the prices drop, because the credits add up.

I've only had dinner at Kona. Dinner at either Kona or Ohana could be a good thing, especially if you're planning on making a long day of the MK. A nice break in the action (unless you want 100% action all the time).

Dinner sounds like a plan to me. Breaks up the day.

:rolleyes1

Anyway.....That's what's so hard about planning this day. We can hop the monorail and go to breakfast, and spend the day at the park, hop the monorail back for a nap/break and hop back to MK.

or

Breakfast at hotel, monorail to MK and spend day, and hop monorail back to nap/break and afterwards, monorail to dinner, then back to MK.

I know, I know..... such tough decisions.:flower3:

Well, in that case - I would probably go with 'Ohana for dinner. They have singing, coconut racing contests, hula dancing, ect.. for the kids - it's really cute.

OK, good to know. Here's hoping to credits for everyone :wizard:

What. :scared1: No singing, dancing coconuts, or hula racing for the adults? :scared1:

Doesn't sound like my kind of place. :)
