Maybe you could surprise him with a little celebration at one of the bars on the ship one evening. We could all buy him a drink...:dance3:. I guess there would be no way to get a special cake made on the ship like they do at the World, would there? Or, maybe you could get him a gift shipped to your stateroom. Just throwing out a few little ideas.

Like using "The Perfect Gift" (I think that's the name) that they have discussed on the show. Shirley can get you almost anything. (Even pink fuzzy handcuffs, for some alone time.;))

Whine Whine Whine...

But wine, wine, wine is so much better.

Now you're talking! Pinot grigio, please. :goodvibes

I just noticed the ages of your kids compared to mine. Looks like your younger two and my older two will see each other a lot on the cruise.:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Our DD7 and DS4 are very outgoing so they should hopefully get to play a lot together. Our DS4 is so excited to finally get to go in the Oceaneer Club instead of Flounder's Reef.

Thanks, Todd. I was trying to remember The Perfect Gift, they are terrific.

But, I didn't know they sold "those"...;)

18 hours, give or take......:headache::dance3::upsidedow

We're in the same boat (no pun intended :)) as we have a 20 hour drive. :drive: Flying is so much easier, but with 5 of us, it is much cheaper to drive and we like having a car at our disposal if needed. I have to say that the ease of flying to DAP made me question this logic though.

14 hours, here. But with 5 people, flying can be costly. Best to spend the $$ at WDW/DCL.:scared1:

Hello All!

I haven't been around lately mostly due to work but the past 5 days has been due to me throwing my back out. :sad1: I'm at about 80% today so hopefully the docs will figure this out soon and get me back to 100%.

Anywho...just wanted to peep in and say Hi. Glad everyone is getting their flights :goodvibes DH and I with some of our friends will be taking the train down. Saves us $278 :cool1:

Congrats to everybody booking Southwest today. Still waiting for Delta price to come down for us (non-stop), southwest for us has layover and plane switches. So still on the airfare hunt!

Hello Everyone. We got our flights today...good price, times and NON STOPS both ways. Yippie!!!! I wish the best of luck for all those still looking.

Something on my bucket list would be becoming a pilot and have my own little Cesna to gallivant around the country in.

Pick me up, please!

There is a small airport in the town where I live and also in the town where I work.

21 hours solo. Can't see any logic for me not to fly.

:scared1: We could drive most of the way across Europe in 21 hours

Let us know when you try your first trans Atlantic trip :goodvibes and then you can take us back with you :lmao:
