Definitely feels like Friday to me. Why do the short weeks sometimes feel the longest?

I think it is because we have to do 5 days worth of work in 4 days which make the days feel longer.

I'll never understand how 1 day off = 4 days of more work

Everytime the add for Despicable Me comes on TV, Phillip says that the minions look like Twinkies.

We still haven't seen the newest Shrek or Toy Story 3. Shrek may already be gone from the theater. I don't even know. I'm hoping for TS3 this weekend.

I hope you get to see Toy Story 3 Dodie as it is really good.

The Netherlands are in the finals for the World Cup!!!! Whooohooo
There will be a party next Tuesday even when they loose the finals there will be a party to honor this excellent team!!!

TS3 was such a great movie - I took my daughters to see it twice, then their camp took them to see it again on Tuesday because it was so hot out they couldn't do their regular activities.

My husband is going into Brooklyn tonight to pick up his fathers mini-van and bring it to our house. My father in law is leaving for Italy tonight for 2 months and can't have his car on the city street because of alternate side parking, so what better place to have it than my house? I'm not thrilled because it's a bit of a piece of crap......OK, a large piece of crap. It was just TOO much to ask my brother in law (who LIVES with my father in law) to move the car back and forth each day, so we have to babysit it. OK, vent over, lol

I haven't listened to the e-mail show yet. Anyone who was in chat on Wednesday night notice if they did say who got to pick the number from the guessing game that the mysterious "TheDIS" ran during chat? They said they'd name the person during the e-mail show.

I just finished listening to the email show and didn't hear any reference to the guessing game. But a really cute 10 year old did a sweet review of "Finding Nemo the Musical" and got to pick a number. I agreed with her review completely. Including the parts about how BORING it is to wait forever to get into the theater and then wait FOREVER for the show to start...getting amusement by trying to find Nemo swimming through the "bubbles on the wall". Out of the mouths of babes, I tell ya!

Anyway, there was a mention of someone who can test/send a video question on their iPhone 4 to Pete, he'd let them pick a number. I'm not sure if he'll pick a person from a random pool o' people who send a video question or not. I am out of the running until my iPhone ships next week.

No. My bad. I am only halfway through the show because my mind took a break during my lunch hour. I will listen and find out if I am "blonde" or not. LOL

Hey Everyone...Just got back from the post office and applying for a passport booklet. Phew...That can be some process....Forms, money orders, pictures, documentation.... *faint*

Also bought airfare for PC 2.0 today. Prices have gone up quite a bit from a year or so ago, but still not too bad.

Pricing on SW out of Indy was better two weeks ago when they first released the rates for December. The fare has gone up $23 per leg since the release.

Had to drop off some overnight mail at the Post Office yesterday - I couldn't figure out was going on. I almost couldn't find a place to park - figured I'd be in line forever, but it was ALL for the Passport application window.
Those poor people must have been in line forever - I am so glad we got ours last winter
