Yeh. Kids are like vampires - they suck dry all your life energy. Also give you grey hair. Luv 'em to bits, but there are days when I'd like to chuck them...![]()
That is what "Secret Deck 7" is for.

I'm at the point now where anytime I have to bring one of the cars into the shop I have nightmares. They always find more wrong with the car than was originally thought.
. I am thankful that my car is under warranty for the next several years, so all we have to worry about it the routine stuff.I like energy calories, not the food kind. =)
I do however like joules as well as jewels. ;^) Okay enough science geek for me, I might haul out the physics book if I don't stop now.![]()
One of the reasons I teach HISTORY.So did anyone change their ressies to get free dining?

That is so true!
JenniferWe're considering it. I'm running all the numbers right now and with tickets and hotel it's turning out to be the same if we were to stay at the Swan or switch to a Disney value and upgrade to the regular dining plan. Decisions decisions![]()

Not us. We're in the "staying on DVC points" group. Which is always a bummer when Free Dining comes around. Luckily, we have all our ADRs in place.
JenniferThey are really good here in Richmond but then I found the calorie counts and don't go there anymore.

Our car is eating a lot of our extra money right now.![]()

in one post.
I was there last summer with my Jeep which was on it's last legs when I traded it for my Kia last summer. The Transmission was on the verge of dying when I "Cashed for Clunkered" it for $4500 - Three days before it would have been flooded and worth nothing.
As sad as this image was 11 months ago ...

I count myself lucky that I had bought the new car when I did.

I took my minivan in for an oil change last week at the Honda dealership. After about 45 minutes, a Service Rep came out and told me it needed air filters and brake fluid flush and yada yada yada. I told him, I only want an oil change. He shrugged and walked off. It must not have been that important or he would have been a little more persistent. Since, the car is still under warranty. I'm curious if Bill brought the car in, if they would have tried to sell him all the other "stuff". I may test this and have him bring it in next time. One of my friends husband use to work at a BMW Service and he finally left after he saw way too many people getting ripped off. He works for Toyota now and they are VERY busy as expected.

I have a Honda which I love but...
having recently become solely responsible for the maintenance and knowing that it had been neglected, I went in for an oil change at the dealer and asked them to give me a written recommendation of the work that needed to be done. It was an $800 estimate with the caveat that it did not include anything they may find when they did the 150,000 maintenance.
$800 to figure out what else I needed.
I took the write up to the shop next door to my office along with the maintenance record I had - which by the way was the dealership electronic record. Happily, they only wanted $200 for the entire maintenance the major items on the dealership were items that I had done less than 12 months before. Obviously I am not going back to the dealership.
What a learning experience!
I seldom take my car back to the dealer for anything.
I wish you well with car maintenance.
and goodnight.Friends don't let friends enjoy beverages alone!

We have RR here - when they first opened I was impressed but after time - I have found the food getting greasier and greasier
As it seems to be with a lot of franchises - they lose their goodness over time![]()
I was glad you were there so I wasn't crying all by myself. My body is "growing older" but I still have the mind of a 5 year old.
I have finally hit the 300 post mark!I know it's not many, but I'm working on it.

Today is my first day to keep the Nielson tv viewing diary for one week.
Boy, did they ever pick the wrong person!
I don't think I have even turned the TV on in the past two weeks except to watch some DVD movies.
Tomorrow starts the ten day Maine Internatonal Film Festival. I will be watching about 25 movies in the theaters. I will not be watching TV!
