PMSers Unite!

Wait....are you saying Teva uses words and phrases different than other people. So things like 'innocent' and 'I'm nice' don't mean the same to her as to everyone else?

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

We are ready as we will ever be. Stay safe my friends!:grouphug:

Our power is flickering like crazy at this point, so I'll wish everyone well once again. Stay safe and don't get blown away. I'll be back when I get power back.

Took ya long enough to figure that out.:rotfl:

so far, just lots of rain here.

Gotta love You Tube and FB friends! I got to watch Teva's "weather channel" moment!

Not a chance!

Cool! I must go find it!

I've had the Weather Channel on all day too. Did any one see the guy streak past the poor weather guy and then drop his shorts and let it all hang out?

Let's just say he had things waving around in the wind and it wasn't hs hands.

Man! All I got was a drunk chic on the local news. The reporter was out in the rain and asked this girl what she was going to be doing during the storm and she told him "getting drunk". There was no "getting drunk", it was already gotten. :sad2:

Lots of rain so far and the wind isn't too bad yet. They have now evacutated Kent Island which is on the eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay about 100 miles from Ocean City.

The sky is low, and dark, but not moving? I really hope all we did today was for nothing, however out and about today, I kept tearing up for all of you.
Please be safe and ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winds are picking up but we still have power. Finishing up dinner and planning on a late night. Looks like the eye may stay pretty clear of where I am so that is a relief. Of course it still has several hours so anything could happen.

I have no idea where we are in the storm, I think we are just beginning to get outer bands of heavy rain. It pours, and stops, pours again...

Fox has the reporter covered in Sea Foam in Ocean City, MD. DF's grandma is heer and she is completely confused by what she is seeing. :rotfl:

I <3 Blue Moon Seasonal! :goodvibes

That foam was hysterical! It's raining but not that windy yet, supposed to hit around 9 in the morning.

Thanks for keeping in touch all of you who can. Feels LIke I am able to keep my eye on my friends this way. :grouphug:

We are headed to bed. For us personally this was pretty much a non event. Still have wind gusts and rain so power could go out and we are being safe by sleeping downstairs. Good night.

OMG!! Our entire street flooded fast! Like 10 minutes fast. I was keeping an eye on things out there every 20 minutes or so. I looked it was ok then our neighbor called and said you better get out here. Water was up to the windows on some cars. All the neighbors helped push cars that wouldn't start/move out to dry ground. A couple of houses just up the street are totally flooded. Rescue workers came down the street in a rubber raft to make sure everyone was ok!

I am so pissed off now though. This didn't need to happen. Our storm drains were clogged. The city/county promised to have them all clear by the time this started. They cleared them now and the water is back down to normal for heavy rain.

eta: took pics with dens phone but since it was so dark out I don't think it'll show properly.

 Please be safe

We are in the middle of drying the puddles that are becoming lakes in my basement! :headache:

Hope this storm passes and everyone remains safe. Hoping the clean up efforts are easy!

I heard from my MIL in CT and they are without power. The street I grew up on in MA which was just demolished in a huge tornado this summer, is once again in really bad shape. :sad2:

:wave2:
Quick check in before we go outside and start cleaning up. All is good here and we have power. Just a lot of sticks and leaves to clean up, thank goodness.
