Merle, :rotfl2: I IM my DH who works in the basement. People laugh at that and it seems funny, but he wouldn't want me knocking on his door when he's working, either. But I will also IM my kids when I'm on my laptop in the kitchen and they are on the desktop in the study. :rotfl:

Bonnie!!! YOu are in trouble. I was totally freaked out when I read the title of your I was fired thread. Here I was all worried about you! (And at the same time thinking in the back of my mind "but isn't she starting a new job?"

T&B--you have separate stores for just beer and wine??? Did I read that right? Okay, maybe our laws aren't so weird here!

Bb got me worried, too. And then I did the hover before opening the thread and got suspicious wondering why she drinks if she's LDS... :rotfl2:

Hard liquor can only be sold by the state. Beer and wine can be sold privately, so not only at state stores. But hardly any grocery stores sell it. There are some strange rules that I haven't quite figured out even though I've lived here for 15 years, but I think that only one store per chain can sell it in our county. So it's not as if we can pick it up at the grocery store, unless I happen to be going to a certain one that sells it (which isn't close to home--not a store I usually shop at). Strange laws!

Thanks Julie. If I lived a few states closer, I'd help you out with that alcohol.

Thanks Teva. NJ is pretty far away though and since you can't bring it on an airplane anymore, I guess I will have to think of something else.

I have had fun catching up on all the DIS craziness today. That genius guy has been very entertaining. :rotfl: But I am going to have to head out to pick up my purse. I left it at a firestation where we had a tour today and one of the other moms brought it home for me. (And no Briar, there were no hot men there :sad2: They were all pretty.....well, portly would be the best word for it.) I then am comitted to watching That Darn Cat with my kids. See why I need the drink??

I am so sorry for the portly men. :guilty:
P&PD :grouphug:

I have a playdate. How do I look? :smokin:

Hey everybody!

Happy Weekend! Things are going just swimmely here :fish: (okay truth be known I have always wanted to use that smilie and couldn't work it into conversation).
After yesterday's adventure in family relationships, I made DH go buy me a new pair of shoes. Yes, it was a bribe and No, I don't feel guilty about it. I told him that after the &^*& (you decide which four letter word to insert here, I love to make my posts interactive :lmao: ) I was put through he owed me.

Oh Angel- I have determined that you are the winner for the best Friday night plans of the thread. Maybe Cantw8 can find you a picture of a trophy or something.
T&B- I'm sorry that you're under the whether, nothing like paying money for a vacation and getting sick on it huh?
LUV- I hope that DH gets home soon, on a different note- how is the puppy doing?
mom3- glad I could be of help, if my messed up inlaws can help you feel better than at least they serve a purpose.
teva- what loot did you rack in for the big day?
Shug- sorry that the shoulder is still not feeling great, it must be hard to not over do things.
Briar- Are we going to lose you when you move?
Bonnie- My DH loved the cup thing, thanks for the laugh.

Everyone else Hi

Money, lotion, candles, and a truck load of instant lottery tickets. I one 2 bucks! :woohoo:

I will still be here when I move. :teeth:

I'm off for the playdate. See you all later!

Oh good (about the moving and still being here thing). Playdates- is that what they call bars now :rotfl2: ?

Hi PMSers!

T&B, I"m so glad you have returned! We missed you! Guess what? I'm finally going to King's Dominion! We're going tomorrow. I don't know anything about the place. What are the can't-miss rides there? (Yes, I do ride roller coasters!)

Hi Redshoes! I have never used that fishy smilie either. Okay, how about this: I went to a pool party today. Ainslee is starting to swim like a :fish: . Do you like? :)

Volcano! It's a great coaster. You can do the kids swap for your younger kids (I think a 52-54" height restriction)--you all go through the line together. Try to hit that first thing or maybe late in the day if you don't go first thing. Jake likes the bobsled ride that's near volcano (and it's one that my DH goes on, too). How tall is your youngest DD? The Italian Job is a good Disney type coaster with a 48" height restriction (too short of a ride, however) and since it's new the lines will probably be long. They sure have been lone here for that at Kings Island. I actually like KI better than KD.

I hated the Hurler--too rough. Rebel Yell was a little better, but the kids liked it. They have the Racer here at KI and my boys rode that lots of times. Ricochet is fun--a mousetrap type ride (I think that's what it's called). Jake liked Drop Zone and he makes me do that a couple times.

Anaconda is good--I think a 48" restriction.

Try to get there before opening since it will probably be crowded.

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to check in- I know it's been a long time. I'm still alive!

I got out of the hospital this morning (this was my 4th stay). But- they have me on home health care and are feeding me through a catheter in my chest so that even though I can't eat the baby and I are still being fed. And I have a pump that pumps meds into my stomach, and it seems to be helping.

Today I feel better than I have in weeks, even though I'm not 100%- but hey, I'll take it.

I've had to move into my mom's house for the time being, because I can't be home alone and I need a lot of help with my IVs. Plus, I'm still pretty weak.

The good news is that my baby is fine- got to see him/her last week in an ultrasound, and it was just jumping and waving!! It has kept me motivated throughout this ordeal.

I'll try to pop in and check in when I can, but it's a little harder since I'm not home. But- I miss all of you!

Becky-
I sent you a PM (it might be two, stupid computer). Hope you're feeling better, really really soon!

I say the same thing about my DH :lmao: .

BECKY! Good to hear from you. I was getting worried about you again. Wow, you have really been through the wringer with this little one. Make sure you write it all down so that you can give him or her the guilt when he or she is a teenager. :) Glad that you saw the ultrasound and things are looking good even though you feel lousy. I was hoping that this would be twins since I know you want more than one child and after this pregnancy I could totally understand never wanting to go though this again. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.

Becky--so good to hear that baby is doing fine!!! Yay!!!!! Good to hear from you as well and that things are maybe getting better.

Oh my goodness, Becky! You have really been put through the wringer, huh? I'm glad you posted and you are feeling a little better now. Rest and let your mom take care of you.

I include you in my prayers each night.

Hang in there and post when you can. We miss you! :grouphug:
