okay - this is the first time I have peeked into this thread - and I swear to God I thought the "PMS" meant Pre Menstrual Syndrome - ohmybejeezus - a senior moment at 42 - guess I better head over to the cyber bar for a drink....... :lmao: Didn't mean to crash the party, just had to share my stupidity - I am practicing how to share well with others....

Welcome! Pull up a drink! :thumbsup2

teva-no, I can't get any. I am just going to let all my hairs grow out because no one wants me anyway. :guilty:

redshoes, I need the PM, too. And I need Cantw8's PM.

Alright PM on the way, but I can guarantee it's not as good as Cantw8's!

Hey, don't go away! I have a few questions.

Is Snow White as pure as she wants people to think she is?
Is she still messing around with the dwarves?

A mother can't answer those questions! :rolleyes1 But HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Welcome! Pull up a drink!

Thanks, Briarmom! margarita - rocks - no salt, please. No more Long Island Iced Teas for awhile!

snowwhitesmom, Welcome! There's no such thing as crashing the party.

Why, thanks! But who told you my new motto? :lmao:

Hey PMSers,

I'm in Sopron, Hungary :cool1:

Very glad to say that we flew into Europe yesterday through Paris, not London. We had a bit of a delay, but nothing compared to what happened at Heathrow.

Slept for 11 hours last night! (It's morning here - we're 6 hours ahead of the East Coast).

Love to all

Hi Merle! :wave2:

Whenever I see your screen name, I think about Pete's Dragon where the Gogans first arrive in Passamoquaddy and they see everyone acting strangely. Ma Gogan says, "Merle, this here's the PLACE!" :rotfl:

:cloud9: Paris. I love it. The airport....not so much.

Geez, I actually spend an evening with Dh and all the good PMs get passed around while I'm gone. I wanna see the beefcake too ya know!

Hey everyone! I'm sitting here in the hotel room sick. :( WAAAAAAA! Thankfully, this is our extra day here and we didn't have any great plans. We almost just drove home this morning, but thought of sitting in a car for 8+ hours didn't seem so wonderful. I have chills, a sore throat, big swollen glands and was up shivering most of the night. My DH brought the kids miniature golfing so I can take it easy. It's hard to even sit up and DIS, though. I need to see if I can get a wireless signal from the hotel lobby and then I can bring my computer to bed. Trying to decide if I should get a strep test, but it didn't come on as suddenly as the one time I had strep several years back, so I think it's just a virus.

LiteBrite, glad you got through part of your journey safely. What a time to be flying internationally. :sad2: Keep us posted when you can and I have your website bookmarked.

Merle, LOL about MemoryMakers posting. Maybe now I can get some dirt on you. ;) I thought of you yesterday at Kings Island--someone had a shirt from Derwood, Maryland that said they got crabs from some restaurant. Normally I would have said something to them, but my 12yo would have killed me I'm sure. Of course my 15yo would have thought it was pretty funny and I should have spoken up since it's not like WDW where we see shirts from home all the time. :teeth:

How is your shoulder, Shug? I haven't even cracked the book this trip, but if I start feeling better today maybe I can have some chill time and read. Why I think we'll actually have any down time on a trip I don't know. :rotfl: Even when the kids play at the pool they are always making me get up and get the beach ball that they knock out of the water.

OK, I need to go back and rest. Or take some Advil--maybe that will help.

Awwww poor Tig! When we came here to VA from Biloxi, Dh had been here a month and then Petey and I drove up to be with him. The day I left I started out with a sore throat at 8am. By noon I was feeling pretty bad and by the time I stopped at 7pm for the night I was barely able to swallow. And I still had 10 hours driving looming before me the next day. I got here late the 2nd night, called around to find a doc to see me the following day and turns out I had a raging case of tonsilitis and had to have my tonsils out. No one could figure out how I'd driven 1/2 way across the country, alone, with a fever of 103 and unable to swallow even water! Please don't over do it. You need some rest! Unfortunately, vacation is never the rest we hope it will be :rotfl: Marley will make you feel better. I swear!

Oh, eta: The shoulder? It's a month and a day later and it STILL hurts! Supposedly I'm over the hump and should be getting better more quickly now. I hope so

Ahem, since we are airing dirty laundry, guess who at an ENTIRE 13x9x2 pan of coco pebbles treats in a single sitting and had the nerve to complain all night about being sick to his stomach  I can assure you it wasn't me.

Shug, sometimes we do what we have to do and then look back and wonder how in the heck we managed to do it. When I had strep, Jake was a toddler and to say that he was an active toddler would be an understatement. Ron was out of town that weekend, bringing Zach to a baseball tournament and Alyssa to girl scout camp. I was so sick and don't know how I even did what I did that weekend.

The real bad driving experience was coming back from Florida one year when 5 out of the 6 of us got a violent stomach virus (or more likely food poisoning since Aly never got it). We had to drive home and since Ron was feeling fine, we went for it. After about an hour he starting throwing up. :sad2: At least it passed fast with him and we took turns driving--one would throw up and then drive until they couldn't drive any more. It was so pathetic and it hit me especially hard. Once we were home, it became the famous vacation from hell that we compare all illnesses on vacations to. :rotfl2:

Shug's DH, you know your wife is going to tell you to clean the bathroom. :rolleyes1 I know how wives think. :teeth:

I took a hot shower, which helped for awhile, but I'm cold again now. I need to go bundle up.
