I'm home from SCUBA class. I passed my test, but dang, sometimes I make stupid mistakes.

Morning all!

Looks like its going to be a scorcher here today (and everywhere else). Of course my pool which has been sparkling clear all year took a nose dive a couple days ago. I had brushed it down and shocked it and now the algea growth is going nuts!
I went out yesterday and got algea kill and dumped that in yesterday afternoon, but alas its still green tinted. I'm so bummed! Oh well, the kids will probably hide inside in the AC anyways.

Congrats Briarmom on SCUBA class. I had to study about 10 years ago for my RE exam and its hard! You do forget how to study. LOL

TB- I would mention something to the Dr. He needs to be aware if ny of his staff is ill-trained so he can correct it before They blind somebody or something.

19 days to go for us! I got all my ADR's yesterday but one soat wasn't too bad. We chose the Maya Grill instead which is real good!

So where are all the summer clothes? I went out last night to get some shorts and I couldn't find any! I hit the mall and wal-mart, but nothing. It's only August for goodness sakes. I don't need a winter coat quite yet.

4s, did you have your pool tested for metals? Our pool was green, brown, grey, blue and then purple Got the metal out and now its clear.

I just got done ordering some new bras online, which I have never done before. Sure do hope they fit, cause I need them for my trip.

I'm going to the University this morning to pay for DD's housing and meal plan. That should be a fun check to write.

I finally saw The Devil Wears Prada last night. I thought it was pretty good - meaning I did enjoy it, but I could easily have waited for the DVD.

Good idea! Either that or bungee jump. That way you can always say that the puppy made you jump off a bridge. If you don't use the bungee cord...well you'd be dead and you couldn't tell any stories about the puppy.

What is everyone doing today? We have T-ball this afternoon and then I will be taking care of a major root situation I have going on.

I brought Ben to the contact fitting today and made it clear to the lady what solution she gave us and that the box said it was not to go into the eye and that the eye was supposed to be flushed with saline if it got into the eye, etc. Also, that she needed to make sure that she was giving correct information out to her customers. I told my husband that he needed to talk to the dr and he said that he would write a letter.

I need to eat lunch since I promised Jake I would bring him to the pool today. Or maybe I'll wait until later for the pool. It's supposed to be 100 degrees today--and that's the temp, not the heat index.

The best thing to do is go to Victoria's Secret and have them measure you. Most women wear the wrong size bra. THEN they will give you a whole box of bras in your size to see what style fits best.

Hello all.

Just working today as usual. I am getting ready to go run errands, have to pick up fingerprint cards, plastic shoe boxes and 3 ring binders. I was going to go to the gym, but I have to get the shoe boxes and binders so that the ladies working this week have something to do. Got to get all of the stuff ready for the start of the school year.

4's- sounds like your pool has been visited by the dog days of summer.

T&B- I don't know about going to the pool, might be better to just stay home and take a hot bath, it would probably be the same thing.

Good morning all! Kids are at VBS again today and I have already accomplished a lot. Got all the copies I will need for the first few months of school made and there was a coupon for teachers on the counter for 100 free copies. The owner wasn't there who I have gotten to know quite well as I am in there ALL the time and I was a little worried about convincing the woman at the counter that I qualified as a teacher but then my buddy Dave came in and I knew I would have no problemo. Sure enough, he even gave me rulers for each of my kids.

Don't worry we will all read it! And hey, you did better than I! I wrote PART of a trip report. It was funny but then I flaked out and didn't finish it. I need to do that someday.

Yeah...I understand. I am at the tippy top of their sizes. Um...I KNOW some of those models are sporting some D cups.

I am going over the first week of our curriculum as well. I plan to start monday as that is when we would have started school if we still lived in Phoenix.
